this must be a FAQ, but couldn't find a prior post - maybe not searching correctly. New implant, my first, about 11 days ago, Coloplast Titan with Touch pump. Dr. has me cycling a minimum of twice daily. Inflating is fine, the pump is easy to grasp and the upper limit of erect is clear. Deflating more of a challenge. The button release part of the pump is closer to the body, so still store, and not as easy to grasp. The Coloplast instructions indicate that it's sufficient to press the button once, hold it for a couple of seconds, and then all saline can be squeezed from the cylinders back to the reservoir.
However, it seems that to deflate I have to hold the button pressed for a while. Also, hard to detect where the lowest/most-flaccid point is and it takes quite a bit of squeezing to empty the cylinders completely. Having pressed the deflate button once, should that be sufficient and I can squeeze out the cylinders, give it a break then grip the penis and squeeze some more? Went swimming for the first time post-op yesterday, and between the surgical-grade manscaping and semi-boner, changing in the locker room was a bit challenging. Would like to learn how to get it a bit closer to natural flaccid state - though I understand it will never return to its prior flaccid state.

Well I just hold the button until it's deflated. As to how much you can deflate, I can't get it completely flaccid but close enough to not show a big bulge. Personally I like it that way -- having been a grower, I love being a shower now

thanks - holding the button works for me, but this seems at odds with the instructions from Coloplast that indicate holding the button for 1-2 sec is sufficient to switch the pump to deflate mode, and that it stays in that mode until pumped again. For me the deflated state still amounts to a semi-hardon. Not too much a problem, but there are situations (wearing shorts at a kid's sport game or something like that) where you really don't want to look aroused. Unlike maximum inflation, which is pretty clear, I'm not seeing where deflation maximum is.

One Touch isn't really one touch. I have to keep the button pressed the entire time I'm deflating.

good to know - thanks! How do you decide when to stop deflating, or that you've deflated as much as you can?

Re: noob cycling question for Titan Touch pump - defalting
Basically yeah -- I reach a point where it seems "pointless" to keep going, which is about as flaccid as I can get.

I agree in that the one touch is absolutely not a "one touch." I deflate until I feel bubbles or air in the shaft.
Venous Leakage (which I believe caused by my overuse of the Bathmate VED)

When I deflate usually wrap a layer of towel over my shaft, makes it a bit easier to handle and squeeze. I'll deflate as much as I can but after sex some natural engorgement remains, and I'll wait until after a shower to deflate more. Hard to say how much I deflate, just until it feels alright, I guess.

Wow, I just got a AMS 700 CX installed 7 weeks ago. My doctor told me not to touch it until I was in his office for a follow up 6 weeks later. I bet you are pretty tender after 11 days?

interesting how different surgeons have such different protocols. For me it was home from the hospital at about 70-80% inflated for the first week, then started cycling, a minim of twice a day, until the upcoming (last?) post-op appt 3 weeks after. Yeah, still pretty sore, but I'm down to one 1/2 codeine per day, so that's progress,
This forum is great! Thanks for the feedback on 'One Touch' being marketing hype and the deflation minimum.
