Day after tomorrow is the big day! I'm mostly excited but a bit apprehensive although more about the drive through the Bay Area than the surgery itself.

Surgery on the 25th
Surgery on the 25th
I am sixty-six years of age and dealing with gradually worsening ED for twenty years. At sixty-three I wanted something that worked reliably. I got an AMS 700 LGX implant in 6/25/13. I am entirely pleased with the outcome. My surgeon was Dr. Karpman.
Re: Surgery on the 25th
Best wishes Dave, I'm sure the surgery and the drive will both be successful ! Just listen to the surgeon's instructions and keep the ice pack handy.

Good luck .... I just had mine June 11 and it was not as bad as I had thought it would be. Feeling much better now but still have some swelling and pain .... Pump feels like a monster competing for
space in the scrotum. My biggest problem has been keeping the erect penis tucked away .... in fact I gave up and cut a hole in front of undies to let it stick straight out. Doc says to point it up with head tucked under waist band .... But the head is oh so tender and it hurts to keep it that way.

Re: Surgery on the 25th
Thanks for the good words. My understanding is that my doctor will partially deflate the morning after surgery leaving me with a chubby but not a stiffy. They want me to wear "scrotal support" ie. a jock strap. My follow-up is one week later at which point he will activate the implant and I am to begin pumping it up "as much as I can stand." This seems like an aggressive schedule but several members here have had this surgeon, Dr. Karpman, and they all report excellent results. Dr. Karpman told me of one patient who disregarded his instructions and had sex with his wife five days after surgery. Nevertheless, he suffered no ill effects.
If you can take this sort of thing, Dr. Karpman's videos, both on his web site and on Youtube discuss and demonstrate his minimally invasive approach, which allows faster recovery.

Had my implant done June 10 swelling all gone. Having a hard time finding deflate button. I am so nervous about inflating it dont understand these feeling. This is what I wanted happy with the lenght and girth just so nervous.
Re: Surgery on the 25th
Well, it's done and went smoothly and I am home. I plan to lay low for about a week. My follow-up is a week from today.

Dave:
Congratulations and welcome to the Bionic Brotherhood! The healing period will fly by, it did for me. In no time you will be back to your old self and having the time of your life with that new toy.
I'm celebrating my six month anniversary with my LGX today, and loving every day with it!
Keep us posted and speedy recovery,
Jere

Dave,
Congratulations!! I'm about 1 week short of 2 months from my Titan implant date and can tell you it's all well worth it..I am fully functional now and can resume my horny ways thanks to the spontaneity my Titan gives me. It's like returning in time to your teen years only better ( the penis functioning part only! I would of course prefer to be a teen again if possible)...Good luck for a speedy recovery like mine and I look forward to hearing your progress!
