Appreciate the input.

Yeah and my kegals is something I want to improve on. My ejaculations have become very weak now, like the cum just comes out of the end of the penis instead of spurting out, my theory is that because I've not been able to masturbate very often at all my pelvic floor muscles have weakened. Will try kegals to strengthen them again

Any other thoughts on this from anyone?

Does anyone think I would be wrong to go nuclear and get the implant?

The only other option I can possibly think of is go with injections, which I don't like the sound of, try the embolization, in the mean time get medical insurance and wait the one year until that allows me to get the implant through insurance. That is an option, but, my urologist advised against injections for me, I guess because I came across as young and wild (an assumption). I also couldn't be spontaneous with injections which is a big concern

If the reluctance to recommend injections is solely personality based and not from your doctor's observation of a physical reason, there is no reason not to try the injections. If they work for a year, you are better off (financially) with the insurance. If, after one or two or a dozen experiences with the injections are not satisfactory, you have not done anything irreversible (as an implant is) and you can go for the implant without second-guessing the decision to skip injections.

Before implant, I considered injections, but I did skip them. At my age and having done a lot of research I decided they were not for me. You are younger and there is constant research on better solutions and better models of implants. Waiting might make those available. An implant renders you permanently and irreversibly impotent if it fails and until you get a replacement.

I am biased. I used injections as my main line of defense against ED for 32 year there are pluses and minuses to injections. Giving yourself one us a piece if cake, although it doesn’t sound that way at first. Once they know how much to inject, you get a 2.5-3 hour erection that slowly subsides to a real shower softy. They’re pretty reliable for quite a while. You get used to timing them before foreplay and it’s not a big deal.

Don’t get me wrong. I love my implant. The injections did sliw down the ehaculation process. If you’re quick to shoot that might be a very good thing.

I am advocate of doing this a step at a time, from less invasive to most invasive. When you find something works, you ride that Hoss until it no longer does the trick

An implant will render you unable to ever have a natural spontaneous erection. When things get bad, and nothing else works, that’s the price paid for an implant. Lots of us implanted guyscthink that was the best deal we ever made based on results. Still, there are psychological drawbacks to that situation.

It’s good to know that if nothing else prevails you have the implant as an ace in the hole and can go that route. But as an early course of action I think it unwise.

I don't know though, any girl I'm involved with wants to fuck and suck all the time. Injections can only be used sparingly, no such thing as a 'quickie' or if she randomly wants to suck me. Also can't have sex everyday with injections?

Maybe that's what the urologist meant when he said he wouldn't recommend them, they seem more suitable for maybe an older person in a relationship, I don't know.

As you can see, the guys here are of a variety of perspectives and are all very compassionate regarding your issues of age, income, concerns. I’m 63 but my ED started very gradually in my mid 40s. Pills worked a long time. Into my mid 50s. Then the injections age 55-present. But, the injections quit working (for more than :30 minutes) as i discovered that, like you, i had veinous leakage. I am now 3 days in my implant recovery as i write this.

In my humble opinion, injections might buy you some time. Time to have some good sex while they work for you, assuming they do. Time to save up some money (i had to pay upfront myself), and time to reflect. Like others have said, maybe you want to try the injections, at least for awhile, and then later you’ll rest in the knowledge you tried everything prior to an implant.

If you’re going to take out a loan, well, that’s about as much as a mud-range sedan these days. If i had to choose between a car payment and a healthy sex life, i’ll choose the train or an inexpensive used car.

There’s another young man getting his implant today. He’s in his late 30s or early 30s screen name Jetsfan. His posting is now on page 1 of the implant page. If you haven’t already, might want to read his interesting posts.

Best wishes brother.
