Hi,
I have been suffering with ED for 15 years. Pills don't work great and I am tired of the side effects. I'm thinking of skipping injections and going straight to getting an implant. Is there any other treatment I should consider before an implant?
Also a few implant related questions:
-does the impact pose any impact on working out? (eg. squats, running etc.)
-is an increase in girth possible?
-how do women feel about it compared to a natural erection? just for context, I am currently single
-how much time off work do you recommend taking for the procedure? do you think a week is enough?
Thank you so much in advance!

Insurance may require you to try injections before they will pay for a surgery. Don't think there are other proven methods to try, it's usually pills, injections implant.
You'll be restricted on heavy weight training for a while. Most implants do not increase girth very much. I'm not sure about females other than my wife, but she likes it and has never mentioned it feels different. Time off work is going to vary, but I don't think one week is near enough. 2-4 weeks is average, more depending on how physical your job is.

Re: 32M considering implant
Another old guy, but one who dealt with ED at your age and can remember what it was like.
Don’t plan on skipping injections. Even if you try them for just a year or two, you need to go thru the process. In my case they were extremely effective from age 31-40. Of course, the implants they had then weren’t great so I had incentive to try the shots. But I think it wise to avoid getting your plumbing ripped out until it becomes the best alternative. If you don’t give the shots a bona fide try, you’ll never know.
The shots worked. Then pills came on market. Very mixed results. Then back to shots and pills, which were pretty damned good until my late 50s/early 60s. I love my implant. In some respects it is better than anything I’ve used. I would not wait until I was 60 to do it if I had it to do over. But I would try pills, then injections, and evaluate the situation after a fair trial. Guys seldom have the exact same experience.
Different guys also need different implants. I lost some girth with an LGX. From 6” to 5.6”. I kept my length intact. The LGX acts like a dick only flaccid is bigger than it used to be. A few people with Titans report minor girth gains which might result from herniation or stretching of the tunica albuginea. In general, though, a guy getting an implant is looking at a best case scenario of having the same dimensions before and after.
Regardless of what you do, good luck. This website is a good resource for men fighting ED.

Age 68. Physically fit educated red neck in Texas. Very married. 23 cm (18+5) of LGX installed by Dr. Bryan Kansas 12/31/2019. I fought the ED and my wife & I won. I’m either full of shit or sound advice. You decide which.
