Hi Guys,
G'day and I thought you might like to read an Australian perspective.
I am 72 years of age and my wife as well. In 2008 I was treated for Prostate Cancer. Since that time I have gradually developed ED, which initially was treated with Viagra. About a decade later I transitioned onto Trimix with good results. Over the years dosage has of course increased whilst efficacy declined. About two years previous I had come to the end of the line with injections, but with Severe life threatening Aortic Stenosis now full blown, ED was the least of my problems. I had a TAVI (TAVR in the US) procedure to replace my diseased Aortic Valve. Thankfully it worked and I now have the stamina from years ago. Whilst having a cuddle in bed with my beloved wife a few weeks back she asked, "what are we going to do with your cock given you now have all this energy?" Sex had always been an important part of our lives, not just between ourselves, but with our swinging friends as well. So clearly she wanted back what we used to have and upon reflection, I guess I did to. So what to do? Frank Talk to the rescue! I read the implant section pro's and con's extensively. Whilst the 3 pice seemed to be the peoples choice, however it's suitability for me, given I have a cyst on my right testicle medially, and I have poor dexterity due to Raynauds disease in my fingers (no sensation). Then the Indian solution of malleable implants entered my thinking, due to several posters sharing their experience, for which I am extremely grateful. So my wife and I did our research (we are both retired RN's). A malleable implant did seem to tick all the boxes as far as we were concerned. It provide intimacy for us whenever we wanted it. We can engage sexually with our swinging playmates again. The question of erosion was mitigated by my projected life expectancy. No performance anxiety about loosing my erection. All good, but there was one hiccup. We are also nudists and have been for the last 50 years. Several of our swinging friend couples are also as well. So we need to find out just how malleable, the malleable penile implants are? Regicon we have read, will bend past 90 degrees, but will it stay there? More research needed. Anyone with personal experience also greatly appreciated.
So on the 31st of Jan I will be having a consult with my Urologist. I am fortunate the my Urologist does do penile implants for his patients. It would seem that not that many do in Australia. So my wife and I will have a multitude of questions to ask. If the answers are satisfactory, and my Urologist is in agreement, I should be joining the bionic brotherhood in several weeks time.
We are very fortunate the penile implants are fully covered by Medicare here in Australia and there are no out of pocket expenses for pateints.
If you have a comment or two please post guys as I am interested in your views.

Wise sensible decision from a rational man. I think you're doing it right.
Soon enough you'll be doing all those nasty things you've been thinking about (sorry, couldn't resist.. hehe)
Good luck in your journey and keep us posted please!

Re: My malleable implant journey.
Thank you principles. Whilst I cannot say that I am looking forward to recovering from the surgery, having a useful penis in my latter years is somewhat compelling given our lifestyle. It will be very interesting and I suppose a bit of a challenge to see how I go about our nudist activities as there is nowhere to hide. But I no longer have the length that I did as a young man, so I am thinking, providing the malleability is satisfactory, being nude in social company may not be a big (excuse the pun) issue. I intend to post a few pics of before, after, and how I manage. At this stage I am leaning toward the Regicon because of the ability to bend greater than 90 degrees. Needless to say that claim might just be all sales talk. I will of course be guided by my Urologist's advice. As for the "nasty things", I am not intending to tell our playmates of my penile implant for two reasons, I want both our playmates and myself to focus on the pleasure rather than the means, and I will be very interested to see if they report any difference, albeit it has been several years since we have played due to my cardiac illness.
So you also have a good story to tell as well principles and I look forward to reading all about it. My best wishes for your next revision.

Re: My malleable implant journey in Australia
Ok so time to finalise this thread. Following medical advice I have decided not to proceed with a penile implant. My reason is as follows;
I had an artificial Aortic Valve implanted in my heart by TAVI or TAVR (in the US). Any kind of non cardiac surgery is now contraindicated in accordance with recent medical research. To proceed, the likelihood of death, stroke, infarct, endocarditis, and haemorrhage is substantial for post TAVI patients. In addition, as the time frame from the TAVI implant passes so to does the risk for surgical complications as outlined.
So whilst a penile implant might be nice, it is not worth risking my life over, although some of the young fellas on here might disagree.
Hopefully this information may be of use to other TAVI TAVR guys. Any doubt's, talk to your Cardiologist.
