What is considered oversized?

Postby Bwtbbb » Thu Feb 16, 2023 1:36 pm

I have heard before that half-way into the glans is the sweet-spot.

Dr. Eid says that oversizing is bad because it leads to pain and erosion, yet I have also heard of very experienced and highly regarded surgeons offering to oversize patients.

What is considered oversized? Is 60% into the glans oversized?

From the research I’ve done nobody’s corpora goes exactly the same distance into the glans. When they measure you during surgery they decide on the best size for you. In my case I feel he undersized me a bit but with 6-7 months of perito exercises and vigorous pumping I’m now back to my pre surgery size. Had he given me another cm or two I probably wouldn’t have had to pump and exercise it nearly as much and would probably last longer. Oversizing would definitely cause pain in the til of glands and or in the opposite end down deep in your crux. Also could cause erosion. I’m ok with what I have but took a lot to get it where it is.

Agree with Rider — I was disappointed to learn that my implant was only 18 cm. How could I get to my preop 6” that Eid had promised? Anyway the tips went into the glans, so I had no grounds for complaining. And through the methods mentioned in this helpful forum, I got back to 6” and went on to 7” — so obviously the sizing if left to a great surgeon like Eid will yield the result you want.
75, used pills, injections -- all lost effectiveness. Titan implanted by Eid in Feb '22.

Yeah, I'd say oversized has not much to do with how far into the glans your implant goes.
Undersized does - if it barely goes into your glans, obviously you're most likely undersized. Rightly sized means it goes as far into the glans as there is space for. Actually it can't go deeper than that. If there is no space, there is no space.
So an oversized implant will go just as far into the glans as a perfectly sized one.
However, what will happen when oversized implant is that when it is inflated and reaching its full length, it will press onto your tissue in the tip of your glans. And/or at the rear end of the implant, in the crus. That will most likely hurt and could in worst case lead to tissue being destroyed and need for revision.

I think Eid's comment describes it well: A perfectly sized implant (Titan) will have some crinkles in deflated state, but will straighten out and be smooth when fully inflated.
If there are still crinkles, folds, etc when fully inflated, it probably means it continuously presses against the tip of your penis, risking pain or erosion.

my implant I'm afraid of an erosion, when it is inflated to the maximum the tips reach the point that the glans is less than half a centimeter left, they touch each other by putting a finger on it seeming that at any moment I have to pierce it, let alone if I start to push to fuck what will happen, in fact the back of the glans swells slightly due to the initial tips, the doctor says everything is fine, but I challenge that there is a doctor who after an implant says he has the wrong positioning or depth tips, in short, the difficulties for those who get an implant are endless, if you don't really have your cock dead and buried, better leave the implant alone, if I could go back I would do it today without thinking twice
