2 weeks post implant, erection slanted

Postby aussiePeyronies » Sun Feb 19, 2023 7:12 am

I’m 2 weeks post implant and partially inflated.

As the swelling has gone down, I’ve noticed that my erection is slanted to the right?

Is this a cause for concern? Is it just because I’m partially inflated and still healing?

Any advice is appreciated.

Mine would do the same during the pre activation days. Lots of irregular swelling going on inside that area. Wouldn’t be concerned until after you’re activated. Once you start pumping it will all straighten out.

Thanks, this is reassuring.

What do you mean by activated?

Mine was also like that and during my first post opp visit to my surgeon he trapped it and pulled it straight. Was painful but been good ever since.

Post surgery men are to leave the device alone. Just rest and wound care for recovery and then gradual increased activity. At some point after surgery as early as 3 days and as long as 8 weeks plus men will "Activate" or start using the device. Called cycling as we operate it through all the cycles. Inflation and deflation. Doctors differ a lot in the amount of time after surgery men activate. And men are different. Some will take longer to heal and push the activation farther from the surgery date.

You may see and/or experience all sorts of weird shit during the first three months of being bionic. Really, it takes that long for everything to heal up good and the last of the residual swelling to dissipate.

Most of my size came back, but I really didn’t see it reappear until months 6-12.

My doc is an early activate guy. Could start cycling on day 3. At the 10 day follow-up he said I could have sex with it whenever I felt ready. At that point my bruises were fading, but I was smaller, sore, and at times not sure what direction it would point when pumped.

Yes, if something seems wrong, you ought to talk to doctor. But truthfully, you’ve had a prosthetic device implanted and it takes a while for a body to get accustomed to the new you. Patience is a virtue.

Between months 3 & 6 I had about a really significant upward curve. It was nothing that would shut me down, but it wasn’t expected. By the end of the year it went totally away, I was left with an extra 3/4” of length and 45 degree erection angle.

My point is two weeks in, you’ve just barely started to heal. I doubt you have anything at all to worry about.

When you can start pumping… activation day! I was more nervous about my first few time’s pumping than I was the surgery, but all smothers out in time.
