Floridaspeedo, my girlfriend is a nurse for over 25 years, she told me that had numerous men with implants removed, she told not to have an implant installed no matter what, and by the way, Dr Trost only recommends an implant for men over 65 years old due to revisions in the future and how infection rate increase exponentially for every revision, implants are a good option later in life due to the live span of them

I am coming up to my first year with AMS, I pump various times a day and it is better than ever. My cousin, has had the same Boston Scientific for the past 15 years and according to him, he has not had an issue to this day. It all depends on the surgeon in regards to infection. My doctor pumped me with antibiotics for 24 hrs (vancomyacin) and never had an issue.

The first implant was the LGX it lasted 3 years and my second implant was the CX it lasted 4 years. I am currently waiting on a revision that should happen soon.
