At this point I’ve had 3 surgical revisions in the span of 5 years. My dick is not the same as it was before aesthetically. Can’t afford another surgery at the moment and surely won’t be able to afford 4-5 more down the road considering I’m 30.
I’m thinking I’m just going to take the loss of girth and length with Dr Clavell at this point with a a malleable.
I WISH we had someone with experience with both 3 piece and malleable to be able to compare the differences.
Thinking of going malleable and taking the loss for my revision

Do you have insurance?
28M, inadequate partial erections as far back as I can remember due to VL. Completely unresponsive to pills, disappointing response to Trimix. Stretch test 19cm. Implanted 1/6/23 24cm Coloplast Titan (Classic Model) by Dr Eid with .5cm RTE on left side

This seems to be the topic d'jour. This is something I just posted in another thread that may be of interest/value here as well:
I don't know anything about switching from an IPP (inflatable) to an MMP (malleable) penile implant but I found the following article that speaks to this topic that may be of use/interest to the OP and others:

Hey Pamen, just curious what you mean by you can't afford 4-5 revisions down the road? My understanding was you can't "run out" of revisions.

I think he means financially since revisions can be quite expensive

Pamen, I am very sorry to hear abuot your experience, this too at only 29 years old. May I ask, why have you had 3 revisions in a space of 5 years? Seems like you used reputable surgeons?

Re: Thinking of going malleable and taking the loss for my revision
Surgery cost would be the worst for my pockets since I don’t have a job with insurance. Plus the trauma placed on the penis from multiple surgeries can cause more nerve loss.
First surgery was to fix the tear in my injury- I started having major blood loss after the surgery and it was a complete botch revision which left ugly scaring by my shaft- the next surgery was undersized and I had floppy glands and pain - the next surgery I developed a kink towards the base which would increase with inflation and over time was getting larger (implant was twisted) last surgery the device has broken with no silicone.
To those who left a link thank you! I will read tonight

I’m so sorry about your experience but, being sorry doesn’t do a nothing good. At least from what I’ve gathered here’s on this site, no one has ever ran out of revisions -save for the expense.get a great surgeon -easier said than done if you don’t have the finances, but you’ll be g2g. This has certainly taken a toll on me too and i haven’t even gotten my first one
42 M. Mild peyronies like symptoms for well over a decade. Mostly related to PFS syndrome I believe. Seriously considering an Implant. Trying to mentally accept the situation, Pills barely work and trimix gel doesn't work, tried injections -hated it.

I don't know if he is still around but Frenchboy went from IPP to MMP

I m implanted with semi rigid (as space holder due to infection).
It feels very close to inflatable, let s say it s like being 2/3 inflated and when aroused seems suitable for intercourse. I m 2 weeks and half post op.
Have not tried intercourse yet.
