Warranty
Dear, does anyone in the forum know if the warranty of an AMS 700 covers a revision for short cylinders? Thank you
I'm 43 years old. Probable implant date February 7, 2018 by Dr. Bechara, Argentina. Great surgeon Diagnosis Fuga Venosa more than 20 years ago. I am from Buenos Aires. Argentina.
Re: Warranty
I would highly doubt it. Your doctor's choice of installing cylinders that are too short is not the fault of AMS, why would they take responsibility for that?
You bought shoes that are too small, wore them around town for a few years and then claim it's the shoe company's fault and the shoe company should give you new shoes that do fit for free?

Re: Warranty
Simple question. Did the cylinders fail? Normaly a warranty cover early or premature failure. Now there might be other rules in Argentina but in my opinion. No coverage.

No, mechanically the cylinders have not failed. My doubt comes because in surgery, at least in Argentina, a technician from the company assists

So how would that give you a warranty? In the USA, it can be common to have a company representative present. But they are not a doctor & do not perform the surgery. My understanding is the rep merely brings an assortment of implants & then takes the unused ones away.
