I'm not surprised about the numbness on the lower third of your shaft considering Dr. Clavell makes large incisions that are partly on the lower shaft.
Dr. Eid recommends to keep incisions to the crus instead of on the pendulous portion to avoid nerve damage.
I hope Dr. Clavell has a good reason for such large incisions, as they also increase infection risk.
