Sorry I meant April.

Right now they are giving out appointments for May. Best is to call and speak to Janice or Ruby.

I think the key is he focuses on penis reconstruction due to severe trauma. His practise is not soley dedicated to implants so he doesn't broadcast implants like some other high volume docs.

I also chose him based on attitude. He was clear, concise friendly but professional and answered all of my questions. I met with another Doc who specializes in very very high volume and I didn't feel comfortable with him, his attitude or "we can do this during your lunch hour." I also spoke to a number of patients and that helped me to decide which direction to go with.

Minimal discomfort, minimal bruising with Dr Cordon's procedure, I was cycling within 7 days, the scar is virtually invisible, no infection, a great care team both before, during surgery and after.

It just works. You have to be patient...everyone heals differently.

If you have questions, ping me. Joe

Hi Joe!
Thanks. I will reach out to you if I have any specific questions. Do you remember what kind of Anaesthesia Dr. Cordon uses?

I dunno, Dr Eid is 69. Unless his absence is due to some sort of incurable disease, he should be good for a few more years. Given my wondrous experience with him, if I was instead needing an implant now,, I would for sure wait for him to get back in action. Just my humble view of a truly great man and surgeon.

From the Operative report below. As crazy as I am I needed the operative report and a recent CT scan as I am scheduled for AB Etching so needed to be sure the plastic surgeon doesn't hit the reservoir. Was very interesting to see the CT scan of the implant. Very clear to see the tubing, pump, reservoir, etc.

OPERATIVE PROCEDURE: After the induction of general anesthesia, the patient was placed in the supine frog legged position and prepped with a 10 minute wet scrub.
Underwent a pudendal nerve block, penile block, and inguinal ring block using a mixture of lidocaine, marcaine and dexamethasone. The patient then underwent a chloroprep prep and was draped in a usual fashion.
ED survivor 5 years. Tried pills, Gainswave, PRP, Bi-Mix/Tri Mix (worked 50% but very painful for 24 hours after injection.) 55 Gay - Single Titan Coloplast implanted June 1st, 2022, scrotal in Miami by Dr Billy Cordone..,very happy. Zero regrets

Friday I had an appointment with Dr. Eid’s PA. Most of his staff are currently reassigned to other positions within the Northwell Health system. The PA was doing housecleaning when I arrived. I was there a little over an hour and believe I was the only patient seen during that time. I did a little probing during my appointment and sharing what I heard.

PA said they are now scheduling for Dr. Eid’s return on April 17th. albeit at a reduced work load.
Reduced schedule as follows;
Office hours: 10:00-3:30. Was 9:00 - 4:30 (roughly 25% reduction of office visits)
Surgery days (W & F): 2/day max. Was doing up to 4 on surgery days. (50% less surgeries)

I asked if this schedule was permanent or will he ramp up to a full schedule later? PA said this is what they were told for now and has no knowledge of plans beyond that.

I asked if they were confident the 17th is now a firm return date. PA responded that this is a man who, for over 20 yrs, almost never took a sick or personal day. During family vacations he checks in with the office several times a day. He responds to patient messages after hours, on weekends, holidays, and even now while he’s on medical leave. Based on his character and non-stop commitment to his profession, his PA sincerely believes he is doing everything possible to be back on that date. Of course I didn’t really expect a definitive answer to this question. But I was happy to hear that the mood of his staff remains optimistic and hopeful.

thanks for the report. Based upon my personal, albeit limited, experience with him I would have no doubt that he will do his best to continue his practice.

I was so impressed with such a great surgeon who is so dedicated to the support to each of his patients.

My experience with him is seared into the fondest and impressive of my memories.

Even though I have had my surgery with Dr. Billy Cordon, I made an appointment with Dr. Eid and I am supposed the see him on May 1st. Idea is to show him my surgery results and take his feedback.

You know after having had the surgery, if I still was a younger man the desire to attend medical school, I would seriously consider a specialty in urology specifically penile implants. The difference it actually makes a men's lives as astronomical. It would feel really good to know that you were helping people out in such a significant way.

I have an appointment scheduled with Dr. Eid tomorrow actually (arranged Friday last week).
I don't know if he is doing surgeries but for sure he is doing patient visits.
