I decided to go through with implant and already chose my surgeon as Dr. Hakky. My question is when I call what do I tell them? Like do I tell them I’m looking to get a penile implant or what?

Basically yes, but maybe not so bluntly.
Tell them you would like to schedule a consultation with the doctor to discuss some issues. If they ask it's about ED (erectile dysfunction).

exactly, and why -- he will take it from there -- very congenial guy, easy to talk with.

Dr. Hakky did my implant last year, all things are going great. First just call the office and make an appointment. Tell them you wast to discuss the implant with him. As simple as that. Good Luck

If you want a call with him sooner rather than later, put in a request though his website -- tell him what you want to discuss and why -- I discovered he reads them all and asks his assistant to set your call up.

I don't think you need to worry about being up front about the implant. Every member of his staff knows exactly what his specialty is and know how to relate to their patients.

Yes, I always say IPP when dealing with the medical people. If they know what it means then great. If they don't know what it means then it isn't my job to educate them.
