Foreskin Question

Postby Trek50 » Sat May 06, 2023 11:48 am

I just had my implant on 5/2 from Dr. Goldfarb. Things have gone really well. I am only having minor discomfort from my foreskin. With the implant in place, my foreskin no longer covers the very tip of my penis. The open area rubs against my underwear and is irritating the tip of my penis which is not used to this type of friction. I'm using some lotion but it hasn't been really helpful. Any suggestions?

Also, does the foreskin typically return to normal after the swelling goes down? I really have to stretch the foreskin to get it pulled all the way back during showering. I'm hoping things will return more to normal.

Thanks.

Foreskin owner here. Your foreskin is swollen right now. It should slowly return to normal. Give it time.

It really hurt to try and retract my foreskin. I even had problems not being about to pull it back to clean because it hurt so bad. Everything got better within a couple of weeks.

Hang in there, you'll be fine.

I'd suggest taping the end of the foreskin closed during the day and night, there is reusable silicone scar strips you can order or get from the store that are ideal and can be cut to size and reused multiple times. Over time you'd stimulate some more foreskin growth that would then cover you or do some manual skin stretching routines to get the foreskin a bit longer to give you coverage. With persistence it works.

I had surgery on 3/22/23. My foreskin was also kinda of just hanging there. Now after 6 1/2 weeks my foreskin is back to normal my biggest issue now is not being able to ejeculate. My Dr. tells that will come back with time.
