partial normal erection after implant

My implant was installed by Dr. Andrew Kramer I think in 2016. No complaints. What puzzles me is that I can still get partial erections through normal stimulations. Once when I was trying yohimbe I actually got a fully serviceable erection, though sadly accompanied by some of the yohimbe drawbacks (heart racing which scared me) so I didn't follow it through.
1. I thought that implanting the device led to a total loss of normal erections. If not, what's going on?
2. Anyone had this occurring and developed the erection potential still present?
