Im still doing the hot baths and icing on the penile shaft for swelling. Boy I can tell you after deflating it’s a different kind of pain. I could never deflate fully but I’m at 10 percent inflated and there’s a stinging pain. I am following his instructions but it is a difficult journey and that you all for the information. I wanted to also know is there any problem if I leave my device 10-20 percent inflated all the time. Or is it mandatory to deflate fully.

Am not sure icing is needed/advised at this point. Kindly check this with your surgeon.

Is there anyone here who had their inflate button totally in the back of both testicles not about to reach at all. No matter how hard I try it’s in the back impossible to reach covered with tissue. My pump is still stuck to the scrotum. I was only able to deflate twice just a little bit. I just read a paper that it might be a risk for something else. I really don’t want then to make me go again in the surgery. It’s nearly impossible to get a hold of it. If anyone experienced the same please advise me. Im taking hot shower twice a day and applying head pad to the area. No improvement. This really makes me depressed and worried. The whole inflate button and around it is covered.

While the pump is back of the scrotum, the button itself is in the front. Or. at least mine is. You may need to pull the pump down, gently, slightly. I doubt it makes any sense for the doctor to put the button in the back.

Well, there is this. If your reservoir becomes encapsulated in scar tissue it may limit the amount of deflation you can achieve in the future to whatever deflation you had maxed out at when the scar tissue capsule formed. (Keep in mind that the scar tissue formation is a long process, not instantaneous by any means.)

There is no positive displacement pump to force more saline back into the reservoir (except squeezing hard on your penis). I have not seen many reports of limited deflation on FrankTalk, so this caveat may be more academic than practical, but there it is.

Essentially, what your Doc told you (if I may be so bold as to paraphrase) is "Cycle up and down the entire spectrum of size you want to be able to be, large and small, for that is the eventual largest and smallest you will be in a year">

Think of it like setting the range of motion of your arm after shoulder surgery. If you do not extend the range of motion all the way up to verticle, ultimately you will only be able to raise your arm up as far as you had practised. For our penis/erection, that is the range of erect/flaccid you will be able to have. But if you cycle fully that is the range of erect/flaccid you will be able to have. More is better.

Agree with the above. If you don’t consistently deflate to maximum flaccid now you may never be able to if the surgical capsule develops around your reservoir.

That said, as long as you’re fully cycling regularly it’s ok to leave it pumped up to say 20% as you mentioned for the aesthetics of having a proper and noticeable package. I like nude beaches and pool parties so my former “grower” self has given rise to a new “show-er” reality, which is nice.

Also, let’s say you’re on a date. The time comes to play and your lady doesn’t know about the device. I’d suggest discretely pumping up to 40% or so. It’s plenty bendy and you can hide it in your pants. When she reaches for it there is something to grab onto and most importantly, the tubes will be somewhat pressurized and she won’t be able to discern anything out of the ordinary in terms of how it feels in her hand.

Fully deflated, she’ll feel the tubing.

Pro tip.
