In my own swinger group experience we had a friend who had developed some type of palsy limiting movement of the left side of his body. And he was impotent. He limped. His wife was healthy and beautiful, but i remember the men were always gracious to him and some lovely wives made it a point to hold, caress, and love on him, making him feel wanted and special. Well, at least this lady takes her husband along and he seems to enjoy it. In the Kenny Rogers song, Ruby took her love to town and left her husband at home. Trashy woman.

It seems to me that this group of swingers is exemplary. At least the men are described as gracious (perhaps thankful this guy has brought his healthy and beautiful wife for them to enjoy) and their women appreciative of a husband so kind to his wife. Well, i think you’re almost correct in your assessment when you say “i can only guess he wanted to see his wife sexually fulfilled and not lose her”.

He DID in fact enjoy watching his wife be sexually fulfilled. We discussed this and it gave home great erotic pleasure to witness. But…

He did not do it to avoid “losing” her, as if such a thing were inevitable should she not be involved in the swinging world. They seemed to have a fulfilling life outside the lifestyle, and their participation with the knowledge their relationship was secure is not at all an uncommon theme in that world. LOTS of guys enjoyed watching their spouses. As I did. I never loved her any less for those moments spent in swinger world.

btw. that was never an issue in our ensuing divorce.
