My surgery was penoscrotal and my specialist never informed me directly, or through post-operative written instructions, to pull on the pump.

I was implanted penoscrotal and my surgeon highly-encouraged me to pull down on it to position it.
7 months post op my pump sits comfortably between the boys, but more to the left with the bulb hanging slightly lower than my balls. Deflate button faces forward. I don't recall how much pulling I did. but it wasn't much due to the initial pain after, but it seems to be fine where it is.
