Do you have an implant? Your signature does not state so. If so what type do you have and when was the surgery done. You might want to update your signature if you do so we can all see this and it will help with us to answer questions.

You will have pain when contracting your PC muscles during recovery, I had very minor pain for up to 8 weeks, ever day of those 8 weeks seemed to get better and better. Now I can do as many Kegals as I would like without any pain what so ever. I am just shy of 3 months in my recovery and loving it.

Been a while since I have read a post about this. Used to be men posting on this often. What I remember is you can feel the hard tips and RTE's if you have them. You are now setting on those. I used to do a lot of Off Road travel on bumpy roads for 12 + hours a day for 10 days or more. And I had a trip planned 5 months after my surgery. I could still feel them pretty good at that point but I did not have any infection or other damage from it. I do not even notice them setting now. Give this a while to sort out and get used to. If the pain gets really bad with a bowl movement you need to get in to see your doctor. Try stool softeners and see if that will help for a while. Pain meds can cause constipation and hard stools.

Good luck and I hope you have a quick recovery.

I have a 21cm CX. I got it May 1 of 2023. I have a very deep cruz measurment of 12cm. So my implant does go very deep. Early on I did feel some minor discomfort in the general anal area. Actually I think it was my colon. It did not bother to sit or go to the bathroom. Just random feelings during the day of very minor discomfort. My medical team didn't seem concerned about it. Now at close to 3 months later I do not remember the last time I felt it.
By PC muscle I think you mean the muscle that is used during ejactulation. From long term ED this muscle wasn't used much. So I think it is weak. But I do ejactulate normal. No pain is felt. I think if you ask your dr about the depth of your implant. This might answer some of your fears. Here that measurement is call "proximal ", meaning rear.
Hopefully what I've said helps you. Feel free to ask more questions.

Hopefully it gets better for me. I can feel discomfort while sitting down and can not sleep on my back.

This surgery has consumed me mentally. Hopefully it improves with time.

I also live in Germany. May I ask you, has your implant and op were covered by the Krankenkasse? ( gesetzlich, privat?)
Was it difficult to prove/pursue your insurance provider that you needed an implant?

Ask your surgeon’s office for a copy of his surgical notes during your procedure. It might answer some questions and in general is good information to have. I can’t say what the laws are in your country. In the US, surgeons are required to give you a copy of their notes if requested. However they are not obligated to voluntarily provide it if you don’t ask.

I had similar issues you are experiencing. Immediately after surgery I had lots of pain around the annal and perineum area. In time I could sense the pain was radiating from the left side. It got better with time but remained painful when I started cycling.

I don’t recall talking to the surgeon in the recovery room but my wife said he did make a visit. She recalled him saying the surgery went fine and didn’t note anything abnormal. When I later requested my surgery notes I learned that I have a deeper than average cruz measurement (9cm) so like GT, my implant goes deeper than normal. More importantly, I learned that the left cylinder was removed twice during the surgery to correct leaning to the right during test inflations. Basically the fix involved trimming the proximal end of the left cylinder. Also the left crus was scraped out to allow the left cylinder to seat properly into the crus making it equal in length to the right cylinder.

So in layman’s terms; my left crus needed to be ream out which caused my lingering pain. In a follow up I asked the surgeon why this wasn’t mentioned post surgery. In short, he didn’t see it as anything remarkable because it’s something he often has to do to correct a lean after the test inflation. Although he did acknowledge mine required more attention than normal because he had to go in a second time.

The good news is today my erection has no lean whatsoever. However it did cause a lot of discomfort for about 6 months until the left crus healed. I’m not saying that the exact same thing happened to you. But you might learn some valuable things from the notes which might explain some pains you are having.

Time is usually the cure and knowledge provides some peace of mind as you go through the healing process. At least it was in my experience.
