Just implanted on 7/31/23

Postby Ecbbrown » Wed Aug 02, 2023 9:53 pm

Hey guys…..I was just implanted and then had to go back to the ER because I passed out twice at home. I don’t think they figured out why i was passing out. They did say i had a UTI though, which would explain the fury of pain I experienced while trying to pee! Anyways, the ER called the surgeon just to get his input so I know my surgeon is aware, but I have heard NOTHING from the surgeon or his staff. I would have thought I would have gotten a check-in from the doc to see how I was doing, even without the ER visit, but nothing. My surgeon is considered high volume, but his communication leaves a lot to be desired. I am blown up to the size of a softball and my dick is curvy, kind of like a slithering snake. Is this normal? I’d say I’m only about 50% inflated but it seems like the tubing is kind of molding to how my dick is bending dependent on how I’m situated. Any thoughts or words of advise are greatly appreciated!
48; Oral meds early 20s-mid 30s. Lots of side effects. Inject ever since, with 4 hrs or longer episodes of priapism. Thought was OK since they weren't longer. PD now. Logistics & pain of injecting have made me seriously consider an implant.

Definitely call your surgeon.
It is disturbing that he hasn't called you, but I'd definitely want his input regarding your issues.
Good luck.

Was your dick not bandaged up when you were discharged from surgery? No catheter?

Best advice when asking for advice, add pictures. There are people here that are experienced in being bionic.

I had both a catheter and drain i had to take out. My dick had bandages around it but not packed tight. I can provide pics but I’m swollen to the size of a softball and everything is black down there, really black.

This too shall pass. I just had my one year anniversary. The pain goes away. Everything will be OK.

That stinks! Damn doc, he never was good at communication.
Hope everything feels better soon. The passing out could be after-effects of the anesthesia. It can hit you up to 24 hours later, that's why they don't let folks drive home. He usually leaves guys about 50-60% inflated. On your 2 week follow up he'll deflate you. (if you can tolerate the pain) The bruising will take a few weeks to go away.
