My doc has been doing implants since the early 1980's. He told me that he formerly would not do an implant without first doing a circumcision. But he then let the circumsision heal for 4 months before doing the implant. But he said in later years he found the circumcision was not necessary so he stopped requiring that and just does the implant regardless of whether there has been a previous circumcision.
