Real pain after implant

Postby Forever_Young » Mon Aug 14, 2023 12:42 pm

I am post implant surgery a year and half. Last weekend included 4 hours riding my tractor, discing up food plots. My pump was mashing my scrotom against the tractor seat. Every bump could be felt. I have not ridden a motor cycle but I am sure it could be uncomfortable also. Still sore three days later.

Forever_Young, I can't relate with riding the tractor seat for 4 hours, but I can tell you that I've ridden my road bike for 5 hours in a 100 mile endurance ride. Riding that long will cause some pain, but if you have been building up to long rides it shouldn't hurt for 3 days.
I was just off my road bike for three weeks and getting back on has caused some pain in my sit bones, but it's getting better.
My pump doesn't hurt when I'm riding my bike, I guess the pump gets pushed up and sits higher in my scrotum while I'm riding.
It's hard to believe that you are still having scrotum pain at 1.5 years out from surgery, but we are all different. I hope it gets better.
I have the AMS 700 LGX with the MS pump and it is a pretty large pump. Do I feel it every once in awhile, yes, but it hasn't hurt or bothered me after healing from surgery.

Good Luck,

I used to do a lot of off-road 4x4 travel. I would spend a week or 10 days with long days in a 4X4 on very rough trails bouncing most of the time. My pump is low and in the back of my large scrotum. I had a trip 6 months post op of my first surgery. And I had some of what you are talking about. I have developed a rough thick area in my scrotum under where the pump has been hitting. Just like right after surgery your body will adjust. Just takes a bit of time. How much time do you spend on the tractor a year?

Ouch. At day 5 I drove a car and ended up waiting for my granddaughter for over an hour. That made me ache for a week.
In my workshop I sit on a wood stool. Even now if I sit wrong it can be achy for a couple minutes.
Can't imagine sitting on a tractor seat for 4 hours. I'd look into some kind of seat cushion.
