Pain at base of penis

Hey guys…….I received my implant 2.5 weeks ago and I have this continuous non-stop pain around the base of my penis and my scrotum. Feels a lot like having a tight rubber band around everything at the base. Is this normal, and if so, any advise on how to ease the pain and discomfort? Also, I can feel and see the tubing on the right side of the base. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Ecbbrown…I have not been implanted yet but would assume that you are way early in the healing process. It’s going to take a few more weeks to months of rest and repair. I’m assuming at 2 1/2 weeks most everyone is having all kinds of weird feelings. Did you have a penoscrotal incision?

Stay the course… keep the faith. You’re gonna be great. Tylenol, ice and rest are your best friends.

I was implanted 5 weeks ago, around 4th week this will go away hopefully.

I had very minor pain at the base but it was super tight feeling like you described. When I started cycling i had pain at the base for sure, i couldnt do cowgirl till 10ish weeks post op because of that pain. For me the swelling and pain went away at the 3 month mark but gradually started getting better with each cycling session starting around week 6.

Thank you all for the replies. That makes me feel a little better. My doc isn’t the best with providing any information on what to expect or what to do, so I appreciate all of your responses!

What was installed? Scrotal or infra pubic install? I had infrapubic and the tubing running around the base of my penis on left side was quite uncomfortable. At that time I though cowgirl sex was out forever. pain lasted 6 months. At one year it was still uncomfortable at times. At 3 years itisjust partofmy body. I was pumped 80-90% for 4 weeks.That was almost unbearable, so a little tubing pain was not noticeable at all.
