Learning to pee all over

Postby Hrc714 » Tue Sep 05, 2023 8:22 am

Perhaps my title should be “Learning NOT to pee all over”. With the hard tips in my titan, my stream comes out with a 40 degree angle to the left. However that varies with force of the stream. I would also add that spray and split stream are an occasional pop up. Given that I need to start my aim 5” low and outside right, and increase to 10” outside right mid pee, then back to 5” toward the end. Now that last squirt could go anywhere so I aim just outside the strike zone and hope. After too many extended cleanups, I am forced to sit. Did not have this issue with previous implant. Any tricks or tips for directional improvement?

Yes. After my implant my stream would be more like a sprinkler. I would spray everywhere.
Actually, I started sitting to pee the next day. I still sit to pee because now I dribble at the end. (dang catheters)
At a urinal I'm ok but shaking it at the end to get those last drops out may make some think I'm doing something else!

I don't need to learn, I already pee all over.....!!

Seriously, I now sit to pee whenever practical. At urinals, I try not to piss on the floor (or on my feet)....

It's a relatively small inconvenience compared to being "always ready"...

Good luck man

I sit to urinate habitually now. When a guest, I figure it is only polite to contribute as little to a host's household cleaning as possible. Then I figured to keep my own bathroom as clean as possible. This actually has nothing to do with urine, as I have pretty good aim (lucky me). It is the splash that is most troublesome which I seek to minimize.

But that does not answer your question, only provides an alternate solution.

Have you tried kneading the tip of your penis before initiating your stream? It could be adhesions in your urethra affect the exit velocity and direction until they let go.

I had occasional split-stream both before and after implant. Can't tell that it made a difference.

Here's a trick that seems to work for me. Wet your index finger and slide it down the slit that the pee comes out of. I noticed that sometimes it's stuck shut a little bit, and that seems to be what makes it spray sideways or go split-stream. I've noticed that this happens more often after sex. Maybe sex juices are stickier than urine, so if that's the last thing that came out, it's more likely to be stuck shut.

I have a soup can to pee in, then dump it. Works for me.

I have no idea why that happens. It happened to me for the first several months after the surgery. Several months in, let’s say five months, the stream started to straighten itself out naturally. But prior to that, it was all over the place.

Your several months in, so I hope it improves for you soon.
