Malleables revisited

Postby tobenormalagain » Fri Sep 08, 2023 7:18 am

I am a soon to be 57yo man and despite the fact that I am healthy, trim, a non-smoker, and exercise regularly, I have had various degrees of ED (soft or no erections) since I was in my twenties. Unfortunately, I have done all of the pills, shots, a VED, meditation, quit masturbating....all with no real success. Several years ago, I consulted with an implanting surgeon who recommended an IPP and in anticipation of one day having the procedure, I did the research on this forum (and others) and feel that I have a good understanding of the treatment options available and the pros/cons of various models. Regarding the 3-piece systems, I know that many satisfied men just live out their lives and don't bother to post on forums such as this. I also realize that there are many men thrilled with their choice in these types of implants. For me however, the rate of component failure, leaks, infections...is very, very concerning and I've never been much of a gambler. That said, I'm now really considering a Rigicon. Yes, I know the 3-pieces have a higher satisfaction rate and are more easily stowable, but if I went with this option, at the absolute minimum, I would likely require a revision at some point due to the unit's end of life. As I'm sure many sufferers can relate, impotence has trashed my self esteem, caused untold conflicts in my relationships and now, probably 90% of the time, I am unable to complete intercourse with my wife. The idea of getting some degree of intimacy back with less cost, pain, recovery time, and without the constant worry of all of the problems associated with an inflatable IPP is very appealing. Can anyone who currently has or had a malleable implant please share their implantation, recovery, and sexual experiences (anal sex would heaven)? Also, if anyone could recommend an insurance company or plan that provides coverage for this surgery (most don't), I would be much indebted. Thank you
