1st Time Sex with Implant advice

Postby liven2themax » Fri Sep 15, 2023 12:57 pm

Hey everyone,
I’ve been cycling for a little over a week, and I’m eagerly awaiting the go ahead from my doctor to try out the new hardware.
Wanted to get some advice to help make the first time go well.

* Would you recommend only partially inflating the first time, and working up to full inflation?
Or do you just go for it? Lol.
Received AMS CX 21 August 24, 2023 (on my birthday). Previously implanted with penuma aka “himplant” February 2022

Inflate to a comfortable intermediate level. Somewhere between the minimum rigidity for penetration and too stiff for your comfort.

The most important thing (in my opinion) is to enlist the aid of your partner. Assuming your partner is female, I heartily suggest this, knowing that your uncertain steps the first time out will get a better reception from a partner who feels she is a part of your journey rather than just a prop. That is, if you are uncertain, your tentative probings will definitely signal your feelings of uncertainty which are likely to be interpreted as uncertainty about HER. If she knows you are concerned, enlisting her aid and making a part of your re-entry team will get her invested in your (both) success. Win-win.

edited to add a thought that Newbie443 reminded me of that many men do not realize implanted men have over their previous selves. You erection is adjustable. Even after starting sex, if you are too stiff, you can deflate a bit (depending on what type of pump you have this takes some experimentation on how to do it) or inflate a little more to reach a good comfort level. Also, something it took me a little time to realize; if one position gets tiring, boring or found to be ineffective, we can switch to another position with no fear of losing my erection. It is durable! On that note: I don't have to worry about withholding orgasm/ejaculation in order to keep my erection. (Of course, holding back does keep glans/spongiosum engorgement and tends to heighten the experience, it is not necessary to continue coitus as long as you both shall wish.)

I agree with the above. In my case I had size loss and had a long way to go to get it back. I had gains out past a year. I told my first partner that over time I would gain more size but we could go as long as we wanted. I was about an inch sorter in size with my first sex than I was from a year later to now. I have told partners that sex is an important part of a relationship for me and so much so that I had surgery to fix the problem I had. And that now having an erection when and for as long as I wanted was not a problem. I had one woman ask that if then I was just having sex when I was not sexually attracted to her. And I told her if I did not want to be with her I would be somewhere else.

I was pumping to max as after a short while things would relax and I could have added additional pumps. I did add more pumps after short periods of time with cycling after about 3 months post op. Kind of depends on how your cycling is going. If you pump to max in your cycling protocol and you are having discomfort at the end of the time then you may want to reduce a bit for sex. If the stretching you start out with goes away then you can try max. And talk to your partner and ask if the max is too hard for them. As stated above include your partner is a something that is good. Shows you are not just looking for self satisfaction but are also caring about her and her needs. Some women like it softer. But then sometimes they like it harder. And of course they like different things and you get to find what they like or not so much so.

I started pumping at 13 days and had sex at about 21 days if I remember correctly… it was tender to say the least. As mentioned above, hopefully your SO is on board and understands what you’ve been thru. My wife of 35 years at the time was as nervous as I was!! Lol. So very importantly is she needs to be very wet!! From oral or just add plenty lube! Go slow and easy. My sensation was off the chart as it had been 3 weeks since I had been inside…..as I got going the excitement overpowered the pain and probably got a little too carried away. Began to get very uncomfortable about 5 minutes in and I wrapped it up a few minutes later. Was very tender and sore for several hours but after a day off was ready to try again. Things progressed quickly after the initial few times. Take your time enjoy! You have the rest of your life to use it…. Or as long as it will keep working.. lol
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

Rider,

Let’s say you are pumped up the max and not having a ton of engorgement. This would affect her on her end potentially drying her up more easily?

Thanks, everyone for your posts. Very helpful!
I am not planning on rushing the process. Have a long-term view when it comes to the new hardware.
I was pretty sexually active with pills right up until the procedure, so I don’t mind waiting a bit longer if needed
However, cycling is going well and it’s less and less uncomfortable every day at maximum inflation.
Big day should be soon!

I've had CX 21cm for 4 1/2 months. I've read & my experience is following the same path. It just takes more time to recover from the surgery than we think. Pain isn't the only thing to consider. For part of the day after I cycle aggresively, my shaft has a dull ache.
Its hard to explain but I'd compare it to when I was getting some shoulder therapy twice a week. The in between day my shoulder would ache more than it did before I started the therapy. I didn't have the same therapist for each visit. Some of them were more aggressive than others. Cycling is nothing other than self therapy. Expect some discomfort.
So I believe that as many have said on here. This is a 1 year recovery. Maybe longer. Especially if you're going the be dedicated to size recovery. The aggressive stretching is going to cause at least some level of discomfort. You just have to accept that you need to put in the work & bear the discomfort.
Remember that head engorgement won't come from merely implant inflation. Engorgement comes from arousal in your mind. If you're just inflating for cycling purposes then it is unlikely that you'll see much if any engorgement.
As to the drying her out comment. Women don't get dried out from fingers or dildos. Neither of which have heads on them.

Liven2themax, all of us are different and heal different.
I was cleared at 6 weeks to have sex but I felt I still had too much pain, so I waited another two weeks, until the end of week 8. I pumped up as much as I could, maybe around 20 to 25 but I don’t think it was close to what I can pump now, which is around 30 to 35. It was good to have a hard Dick again and have sex with my wife, but it was awkward for me; I had pain in my Glans where the tips of the implants were, I had numbness because the nerves were still healing and my pumped up erection felt a little floppy when I tried to penetrate her. I have the LGX which expands in length and width, you have the CX which is stiffer from what they've said and it expands in girth. With your implant, it might be possible to pump partially and still have good penetration, because the CX is stiffer.
Don't get discouraged, if sex isn't great the first time, it gets better every week. I hope the first time for you, it will be great :!: 8-)

Good Luck,

Lost Sheep is 100% correct.

My Asian wife doesn't like a rock hard erection
(This surprised me)
A little pliability makes sex much more pleasurable for her.
Whats great is that YOU have the power to control this.

Great advice.

Recently, my wife mentioned that she felt sort of "bruised" inside after a particularly long and vigorous session. Clearly I was too rigid for her, so it takes a little getting used to to find the sweet spot (so to speak). I'm glad that I have to back off a bit, I appreciate that I have more rigidity than is necessary or even comfortable if at some point I need it. Nobody wants to to full throttle and find that it's just satisfactory, that little extra in reserve is nice. ;)
