What is the chance that a woman encounters a man with implant ? (IE, are we one in a million?)

The ones I feel sorry for are the women who have a man that won't address the ED situation.

Just thinking right now. I can only recall 1 coworker saying he couldn't bang a girlfriend. Blamed it on drinking that night.
My older brother, 80ish has said that sex went away awhile back. Didn't give a timeline but I'd guess in his 60's. His wife has major back trouble so there is that factor. He has the $$ to easily cash pay. I think my nephews will be set for life if they don't blow it.
But consider the overall demographics of implanted men. Average should be fairly old. Not really the group that is out experiencing multiple partners. We all slow down as we age.
If my wife was to pass? I'm not sure what I'd be doing. I suspect that navigation of post menopausal women with low or no libido, women that need a mate for financial reasons & the ones that have an adult kid in the basement. I can't see marrying a poverty case, not going to raise someone elses kid, don't want to have another kid. Lots of dynamics to consider. So maybe only 1 women will experince my implant.

Gt1956, you have the demographics right. But I do see more and younger men on this site. Maybe it is just that this site is better known now, or maybe the threshold age for implantation is lowering.

In any event, when I got my implant at 69 years, I got a vasectomy at the same time just in case I were to be able to bed a woman of child-bearing years. Has not happened, though. Not for want of opportunity...if I wanted to go looking, I could have, but my life habit has been serial monogamy.

I asked my doctor about getting a vasectomy at the same time as my implant, and he said it wasn't a good idea.
Six months later, I asked him about getting one, and now he says it's not recommended after having an implant due to the risk of infection.
WTF? Why didn't he explain that in the first place?
Age 59. AMS 700 LGX 21cm + 2cm RTE.

You need a better surgeon. Vasectomy is a fairly simple procedure. When I asked my surgeon, he replied, "I don't see why not. I will do the implant first and if everything looks OK, the vasectomy after, before closing you up." or words to that effect.

I asked on Franktalk and got several responses suggesting not to do it. If you get complications from either procedure it might be difficult to sort out the cause and cure it. I had confidence in my surgeon because I talked to him and he listened to me and talked back. I felt he was dedicated to his craft and to my optimal outcome. If you don't feel that with your surgeon, find another.

I did have a friend who had his vasectomy reversed back in 1976 or so. His scrotum swelled up to the size of a softball. Alarming, to say the least. So, be cautious but get the medical procedure you want.
