Duel Implant in Single Operation

Postby ronbstewart » Tue Nov 05, 2013 2:48 pm

I am 73, USAF retired and still live a very active life, my wife is 43. Just over a year ago I underwent surgery for prostate cancer. It was a success but I'm still having incontinence issues which my Dr says should have gotten much better then it has at this point. Because my health and daily life is above average for my age he suggested I would be a good candidate for AUS 800 Artificial Spnincter and AMS 700 Penile Implant all in one operation. I have very good faith in Dr (Lt Col USAF) as he also done my previous surgery. I would like to hear comments, advice and even horror stories from anyone who has both Implants. Ron (OH)

I have seen some comments about the AUS with an implant somewhere on FT. You could do a search for "AUS" and find some info. People often stop reading FT after they are healed up and working well so you might not reach all the AUS users just be asking a question.
