Can only find one testicle

Postby eddie054 » Tue Sep 26, 2023 3:11 am

5 months out and feeling around and can only find one testicle. Wondering if one was removed to make room for the pump. I'll ask the doctor at muy follow up in January,

My left nut was hiding on top of the pump for the first year. I guess the boy was scared of his new roommate, so took a top bunk.

Seriously, the pump placement did seem to displace my left testicle upwards and five years post-op it is still higher than previously. The pump bulb makes a bulge in my scrotum with is most apparent when I wear snug briefs. I would rather the pump be lower and placed behind my testicles, but not so much so that I would risk a surgery to make it so. The difference is purely aesthetic at this point. I suppose sperm production might be reduced because production needs to take place at a temperature below normal body temperature, but at my age that would be academic anyway.

If I were you, though, I would just call my surgeon's office and ask the question. January seems a long time to wait if it is preying on your mind. Or ask the advice of members here. Which you have done.
