Although I've not had surgery, I had good consultations with Dr Banga and Tanwar. Both seemed qualified at the time. I believe both of them have been trained internationally. They have videos on their YouTube channel about the surgery as well.
33 y/o, suffering from ED as long as I can remember. Never had random boners. Pills worked for a few years, but now losing efficacy. Venous leak confirmed by Dr. Garber. Likely going the implant route at some point.

Your replies have made me wonder why you did not consult some of the better-known prosthetic urologists and high-volume implanters in India, many of whom have a presence on social media, such as:

Vijayant Govinda Gupta (Delhi)
Gautam Banga (Delhi)
Ashish Sabharwal (Delhi)
Raman Tanwar (Delhi)
Rupin Shah (Mumbai)
Priyank Kothari (Mumbai)
Pramod Krishnappa (Bangalore)
Sriharsha Ajjur (Bangalore)
Joe Kaushik (Nagercoil)

Also, why did you not explore ZSI 100 and Promedon Tube? These are both supposed to be very good malleable implants, with rigidity comparable to the Tactra and with silicone covering which is very advanced to make the penis feel natural? Also, they have hydrophilic coating and the Tube has been around for 20 years so there is a lot of data on its performance.

Of course, you will get used to the glans being exposed. As someone who is circumcised, I can tell you that it is perfectly normal (as in one does not notice): just as one stops feeling the clothes one is wearing, the same goes for the underwear rubbing against the exposed glans.

Before surgery, did you not have an artificial erection induced by the surgeon to assess your "natural" length and girth? Because the aim of the implant is to restore those sizes....then you would know whether 11 mm or 13 mm was the right thickness for you.

A few more questions:

(1) How is the axial rigidity at present? At what point does it start bending or buckling?
(2) Do the distal tips hurt when they press into the glans when you test for axial rigidity?
(3) What about being able to bend to conceal the penis? Are there certain positions that work better for you?
(4) What about masturbation? Have you tried it with the implant or not yet? How has it gone in terms of orgasm and ejaculation?

Thanks

Till now my family didn't know i got implant. I told them some urine problem. That's one reason I couldn't travel to any other city. Second, it would cost me more for travel and stay. I got it in my home town. I don't have much regrets. My surgeon also has done decent job. I am little upset with his post op care. But in this forum I see that many surgeon across the world are like that, won't give proper post op care. I consulted sumith jaiswal. better-known prosthetic surgeon and high-volume implanters in India, who have a presence on social media. I was shocked to see his dangerous google reviews later. Many reviews are like he would block the phone numbers of his patients after surgery and would not handle if any complications arise. Sumith jaiswal just told me the price and he didn't talk a single word more. That was strange. He talks so peacefully at length on social media. But his real nature is inverse.

My surgeon is the only one I met who showed me the various brands and anylised the hardness I was getting during ED. Just in 1 week he did my implant. Time is also another factor I went with this doctor. He was quick. He's a surgeon from reputable Appollo hospital. He worked in Singapore for many years. That gave me the confidence towards him.

I seen the demo of shah, tactra and regicon. Shah is not hard enough. Tactra has no coating, sharp ends may lead to corosion, only 5 years warranty. Regicon has everything coating, hardness, soft ends, various sizes, lifetime unconditional warranty across the world. So, no second thought.

He measured me before ordering the implant.

Now, I am 3 weeks completed from surgery. My main focus is on incision healing. I am not in a hurry to experiment with my new toy. I am cautious about if any infections for 3 months.
I can bend it up totally vertical. I didn't try other directions. I will do it after 3 more weeks.

The distal tips won't hurt when they press into the glans. They feel soft and good.

Upward position is the best and most comfortable so much so that I forgot I have an implant there.

I planned intercourse with my gf in October midst. I don't want do much of masturbation or hand job. I will handle my toy extra careful.

Ok. Great answers Chintu.

I am a bit surprised that you say that Tactra has sharp distal ends because a soft rounded distal tip is supposed to be one of the features of the Tactra implant. It is true however that it neither has a hydrophilic coating nor a long warranty period (at least in India)

For you, how did the rigidity of the Rigicon compare with the Tactra?

You say that your surgeon measured you before surgery...but did he induce an artificial (pharmacological) erection? On what basis did he assess your girth if not with an erect penis?

Sumeet Jaiswal is not an andrologist, not even a urologist...he is a plastic surgeon just like U.B. Rao, who also has a lot of videos on Youtube on penile implants. The former has terrible reviews. One must select only a urologist speacialising in penile prosthetics because they not only know all the penile structures intimately but they are able to apply that knowledge to any issues that crop up during surgery and afterwards.

I am glad that you can already find positions that make you forget that you have an implant. Actually, I have a theory about this, which is that men who tend to stow away their penises upwards before surgery will find it easier to adapt to an penile implant (because this seems to be the easiest way to stow a penis with a malleable implant after surgery).

What does your glans look and feel like by thew way? And please do let us know how is the axial rigidity at present? At what point does the penis start bending or buckling when yoi put pressure on the glans?

Thanks

I think tactra has 4 sizes out of which 2 are soft ends and the other two are sharp ends.

Tactra is concrete hard compared to another. But there are disadvantages with the material and others that I told you before.

I checked the other 2 brands you told on internet. Zsi100 and pomedon. I felt zsi 100 is awesome but they don't say anything about warranty.

Once he measured by strectch size. Next time he measured in operation theatre when I was given anesthesia. I didn't know how he measured

Yes, Sumeet Jaiswal is not an andrologist, not even a urologist...he is a plastic surgeon who also has a lot of videos on Youtube on penile implants.

My glans look and feel like before; natural. axial rigidity at present is Rick solid. At no point does the penis don't start bending or buckling when i put pressure on the glans

Very important thing here; a guy from this forum is chatting with me on WhatsApp personally. Now I got the idea to create a whatsapp group for malleable implantees exclusively for indians.

I am thinking to create a whatsapp group with Indian implantees, only malleables . So that if anyone gets a problem like infection, erosion, revision, claiming warranty it will be helpful for all.

I will share the whatsapp group link here..

3 weeks from surgery. Here's how the fellow is looking like. Using a strap to keep him upwards. It's more comfortable that way. As rigi10 is said to have position memory, I don't know why it won't stay upwards. If it can stay up, most of my problem would have gone. I will try other directions to bend after a couple of weeks of more rest.

Yes, it should stay in the position you choose. So what happens when you remove the strap (which is basically operating as a soft belt, right?)? Which position does the penis naturally assume when you remove the strap?

Also, is there still some inflammation from the surgery or has it all gone (just to understand whether your penis looks this way because of post-surgical swelling or because of the implant)? I guess since you are not circumcised, a portion of your foreskin has now been displaced to below the glans, right?

It would be interesting to compare this with someone who was already circumcised.

Did you say the post-implant length and your pre-implant (erect) length are the same?

Also, do you still feel tumescence/engorgement during sexual arousal (even if you have not yet masturbated)? If yes, how does it change the shape of the penis and glans?

when i remove the strap the penis is horizontal like I the 3rd pic.

There is no inflammation from the surgery. it all gone.

Length after implant can't be judged now because of the stitches. I got the biggest length available in rigicon 25cm. So, I can't ask for more

Yes , i still feel engorgement during sexual arousal
