Penis Head
Back before ED, the head of my penis would get engorged and stiff. It is my understanding that the head has a different blood source. So my question is now that I am implanted on 9/26/2023 and when I get cleared for sex can I expect the same? Because atm I have noticed my penis is fuller and ridged but my head is soft. I can actually feel both the tubes at the front of my penis behind the head.
Married 46 year old man.
Pills worked great for 9-10 years.
Trimix with no results to speak of.
Diabetic doctor suggested an implant.

Welcome to the forum, T.Ellis.
Since you are only a week post-op, your penis being fuller is most likely due to swelling from the trauma of surgery. If you get sexually/physically aroused, your glans/head should be as full as ever. This may take a while, though. Some trauma to your stimulation nerves surely occurred and it may take months for total feeling to come back. The better the surgeon, the quicker this will recover.
In other words, be a patient patient.
When my glans is unengorged, I can feel the tips of the tubes, too. With engorgement, the tips feel very much like my natural erections did (the tips of my tunica albuginea supported by the implant tips).

I agree with lost sheep, same for me. Glands engorgement is same pre and post op. I think i had a little less in the early stages but after 6-8 weeks my glands swell up like normal.

I get engorgement of both the shaft and head of my dick.

Agree with all above.
Yes. You’ll feel the tips when pumped and unaroused. They feel pointy and hard. With arousal and engorgement your dick will feel much more normal to you and your partner. Having sex at 90% vs 100% also seems to help in this regard as well.

Active, athletic 63 years old. Sexually, still 33 in my mind and spirit. Pills and injections all worked, until they didn’t. Diagnosed with veinous leakage in 2022. Coloplast Titan. 22 CM. No RTE. Peno-scrotal. Implanted 1/4/23. Dr. Clavell.
