Has anyone had experience with surgeons in Washington State?
My current urologist is Dr Ostrowski at Evergreen - who is reportedly both experienced in Peyronies and is a high-volume implant surgeon. So far, he seems like an excellent urologist and surgeon. I am currently doing 10 weeks of traction, but I am leaning towards the implant surgery early next year.
Replies here or PM replies would be welcome.

Have been dealing with moderate Erectile Dysfunction for many years, originally needed thyroid and testosterone, then using Trimix.
Recently diagnosed with Peyronie's - early.
Treating with Traction and Pentox. Don't know the next steps.

Yodarb, last week I was able to have an appointment with Dr. Walsh in Seattle. I met with him and another urologist that is training under him. We went over both implants and injections. Honestly, I'm not too fond of the idea of injections. However, I have another appointment with his office this week to learn how to do injections. I've decided to give the injections a try for a few months then reevaluate things. I did make another appointment for January to discuss how the injections are working out and if I"m no satisfied then we will go the implant route. He mentioned that he prefers the AMS CX implants. While I'm nervous about surgery I really don't like the idea of having to be dependent on injections for the rest of my life. The idea of being able to simply pump and go seems like it would be worth the time of recovery. Hope this helps.

As I understand, Dr. Walsh is the most experienced implant surgeon in the Seattle area. And it is great that he is training other surgeons. You should be in good hands working with Dr Walsh.
Regarding injections. Give them an honest try. They can work very well. And once you get used to them, they are both easy to use and effective. There is a lot of discussion around fibrosis and injections - as I understand, there is some risk but it is not as great as many people make it out to be. I have used injections for years. I have recently been diagnosed with Peyronie's; but urologist suggests that it could be a result of injections, but it could also be a number of other factors. I caught the Peyronie's early, which is best.
In the end, even it you take injections for a while, it is likely that you will eventually end up with an implant. This is where I am at.
Good luck. And discuss all this with your urologist. You should trust him; and if you don't, you should find a different urologist.

Found Dr. Walsh in Seattle and have not looked back. Implanted by the great doctor several years ago. The thing I really like about Seattle urologist are they will personally call you asking how you are doing and if you have any questions. Another good thing is Dr. Walsh does not rush through appointments like most other doctors. If I had to do everything over again I would be first in line to see Dr. Walsh or any of his counter parts at Men's Health of UW.
