Op went well. Doc said there was a bit of scar tissue from Trimix use, but nothing to worry about. Its about 40% inflated right now. I can feel the valve through the dressing but I'm not doing anything. Getting deflated and catheter pulled on Saturday. Wife notices it already looks thicker in the dressing.

Before surgery: 7.5" L / 6.5" Cir. (Hard)

Will post updates. A little achey but not bad.

Congratulations Sunset, sounds like you’re doing great. I’m sure that it will be a little achey again once it heals up and your wife gets hold of it. Lol

I literally was marking time day by day that first month. Every morning “day 2”, “day 7”, was my first thought as i’d wake up. Of course, time moved at a glacial pace.

Patience was the biggest challenge. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Almost 11 months postop now and those days seem like a dream now. All good now!

Hope your pain stays minimal. These first few days may be miserable. In a few weeks you'll know it was worth it.
