It’s kind of hard to get exact measurements of that as if I’m of excited I just get hard without the rest getting engorged. In those cases I’m not as big. My wife tells me she can tell when I cum because I get bigger.

Please tell me what is your girth when the implant is inflated and in an excited state? and what was the girth before implantation?

Just remember the cylinder size is just part of erection.

The implant only replaces the corpora cavernosa

The implant does not replace the corpora cavernosa it's placed inside of it and with good surgical technique you can still get blood flow around the cylinders within your corpora.

Thought I was sure I wanted a Titan because of my size. There is a high volume doctor that I saw but he only does IMS. My reader has he is a high volume and trains other doctors done over 7000 implants. Another member recently used him with great results and looks like he is keeping his 5.5” girth at present. I know everyone gets different results but would like to hear from you men that keep 6”

I have no clue about the AMS, but I was concerned about girth last year after I injured my penis. I started noticing it becoming thinner at the site of scarring, so I decided to get an implant. Months after the procedure, I regained my pre-injury 6-inch girth (I also got filler, but I measure at a spot where the filler migrated from my midshaft to reference my natural girth). I attribute my success to supplementing with Cialis throughout the entire post-op period. The cylinders in the implant only expand so far, and I don't think they expand to a 6-inch girth. Therefore, how good your blood flow (engorgement) is after the surgery determines how much girth you will have. I believe the Titan expands to 5.1 inches in girth, so I would imagine it's somewhere around there for the AMS too. Anyways, good luck.

I certainly hope that is not the limit. I am getting an AMS 700CX on 11/29, and am starting at 8” x 7-1/2” (with a couple of minutes of pumping). I don’t want to lose all that girth!

Why are you going with a AMS? Is this what the doctor says you need? I’m at 1/2 above 5 1/2 so maybe that’s not that much but your 2” above that so that’s a lot. The cylinders of both will
Only expand to a max diameter so it has a lot to do with your penis and the tunica albuginea. That’s why I posted this to see if anyone with 6 girth before the implant keep 6” after with the AMS CX.

That is my only concern with this doctor is that he only does AMS. I think both has their pros and cons but seems most doctors that do both put in the titan for guys with longer and more girth. Dr. Clavell has a good video describing both and their features on youtube. Here’s a link

I think he did. He said its hard to get exact measurements after his implant. I take his words to mean that he isn't going to waste his time while engorged to measure his girth.

Like many of us, I suspect that he never accurately measured his girth pre ED.

This guy lives in my area. We are of a similar age. We have decided that an implant was the only reasonable choice.

If the fear of maybe losing a little girth for a year. Which YOU have some control over. Is stopping you from getting an implant then FT won't help you.

My girth is 6.2 inches. I'm being offered titan, but I'm considering the ams cx because of its more natural look when deactivated. In addition, I am concerned that titanium tubes are often subject to erosion. The question still remains open for me how much titan will allow me to maintain my girth and whether it will be a big difference compared to the ams cx. In addition, I have scar tissue in my penis from vein ligation surgery, which was complicated and left me crippled.

I can’t speak for the CX. It’s my understanding it will be similar to the LGX from a girth expansion point of view.

My personal experience. I’m one of apparently very few that did measure girth before surgery. (Both length and girth, along with some pictures using tape measures and rulers—-evidence if I had to sue someone lol)

The AMS products did result in a loss of girth. I was 6” around before, and I’m 5 5/8” in circumference now.

Did my surgery go well? Check
Did I recover quickly? Check
Did I have any infection? No
Did my surgeon’s office provide lots of after-installation support? As much as I wanted.
Have I had any trouble in almost 4 years of being bionic? None
Would I let them put an AMS in me next time? Absolutely. If that’s the best fit based on what I might need during a revision, I have no qualms.
Would I have a problem trying a Titan? Again, if that’s the best fit the doctor has my blessings.

My surgeon seems to favor the LGX. To be specific, he likes installing the 18 cm LGX. So much so that he put 5 cm of RTEs with mine.

From the reading guys seem to gain at least 1 if not 3 cm during a revision. So I’m looking at 24-26 cm worth if/when I get revised.

That might be something best dealt with using a Titan.

Bigger picture is yeah, I lost a tiny amount of girth with an AMS. I got all my length back. This thing is so much a part of me I’ll be damned if I can remember life without reliable erection on demand.

It looks good. It works good. I’m happy. If you’re hung up on 3/8” of girth you’ve got bigger issues than simply the ED.

My advice is share whatever concerns and goals you have with your surgeon, and let him guide you to the model he thinks will work best for you.

I agree that the surgeon should make the final decision on type but they also want your input on your preference. And they state there is pro and cons of both. Some only do AMS so maybe they are not making the best choice.

Their is reasons that doctors that implant both types choose a Titan for guys with longer and larger girths!

I was wondering if his doctor knows he's 7.5" girth? I don't think they always do. His choice could definitely change based on that.

Take this with a grain of salt, but it is advised on the peyronies forum to stay away from doctors who only use one brand of implant.

Be aware too that the 24cm titan expands more in girth than the 22cm, and the 26cm expands more in girth than the 24cm. So, if you have a larger crus, the doctor may be able to input a 24cm titan with increased girth. Dr Eid does state that 6 inch girth is possible with a 24cm titan.

My understanding of AMS, is that they do not expand in diameter as much as titans. Thus, most doctors prefer titan for penis with longer length/girth (length usually corresponds with girth).

May be a good idea to consult with another doctor that uses both titan and AMS.
