Tissue removal

Postby ruwansilva25 » Mon Dec 04, 2023 3:23 pm

Is erectile tissue always removed before inserting the tubes? I remember one doctor (Dr Perito) saying that he doesnt remove tissue, but only adds the tubes. Apparently he knows of one case where the patient got the implant removed and went back to injections.
40 YO. Been on pills since late 20s. Pills now starting to not work. Might be vein leak. Dont want injections. Hoping to get checked out next month for implant.

I don't think any of the drs actually remove it. A tool is pushed thru it to make a passage that the cylinders are pulled thru. The cylinders during inflation expand to occupy the penis. So all tissue is there.

So in theory all implants should increase girth?

Absolutely not. The tunica will limit the max girth. Its very tough & stretching it is unlikely. Most common advice is you getting your original girth back. If by some chance your body was not able to reach your tunica limits. You might gain some girth but it is not assured to get an increase.

In my case, I have a 6" girth now. My girth prior to ED was slightly over 6". I always said it was 6". I didn't feel any need to say like 6 1/8" or 6 1/4".

I guess if after a year of cycling. If I get some girth that exceeds 6" by very much. I'll change my signature line.

You do not give your girth. Do not automatically presume that every man with a 21cm CX will get a 6" girth. The body doesn't work that way.

Correct me if I am wrong but it seems to me then that as long as you still have some arterial blood flow to the penis, in conjunction with the inflated cylinders, a beefier erection should occur with the synchronicity, and if you have a venous leak as the primary reason for your ED, then a constriction band will also aid in holding onto that beefier erection as it did for me with the Trimix usage.
Getting my implant this Wednesday.

Pills didn't work well. Trimix worked good for 3 years, then only fair for following 3 years but need a cock ring in conjunction.
Implant 12/6/2023 Dr. Eid
Coloplast Titan 20 cm with right side trimmed to 19 cm. No RTE. Classic pump.

My first paragraph explains that. It doesn't matter very much what is pressing against the tunica. It will only stretch to its max. Most of that limit is genetics. Blame your pencil dicked ancestors. Not the dr or the brand of your implant.

I'm around 6.25in length and 5in girth erect; I only thought might be increased girth as you are adding cylinders to what you already have but guess that isn't the case

I will be presenting my question to Dr. Eid (the guru of implantation) on Wednesday to get his evaluation after well over 7000 implants performed.

I asked Dr. Hakky about this in my pre op and he said that he does this with all his patients. He said something about not dialating. I didn’t ask further questions, but in retrospect maybe he means he doesn’t dilate the corpora before inserting the cylinders, and somehow that preserves the tissue? No idea.
