I'll start by saying that my wife is 58 yrs old, and she's in terrific shape. She's not overweight or 'sloppy', she keeps herself toned, taut and strong by exercising/pilates 5 days a week. We frequent nude resorts together and she stacks up very well against 40 somethings by any measure. (I'm the sloppy one)
The other night during one of our sessions, after about 20 minutes or so of different positions and levels of enthusiasm, I reached over to my nightstand where I had hidden one of those "girth enhancers". If you haven't seen them, these are soft gel-like sleeves that you stretch to fit over your penis and there's a back loop you put around the back of your balls so it doesn't slide off the end. This sleeve is about 6" long, so it fits snugly against my body and ends just before my corona. When it's on, the head of my penis is the least girthy part of my dick.
I was able to slip it on quickly due to the lube we had already been using, and continued with the activities at hand. We moved to other positions, but I kept my wife's hands busy so she wouldn't reach down there to discover it.
When we had both completed, I asked her if she had noticed anything different. She had not. I then showed her my still hard dick with this thing on it. She couldn't tell the difference.
Adding this thing probably added an inch or more in circumference to my implanted penis. Far more than I could ever get with injections or larger implant cylinders, and my wife could not tell.
Now, many of you will say it's because I have a tired old 58 yr old wife that doesn't know any better and her vagina is worked over and worn out. I don't agree with that, but it doesn't matter. I think this conversation over increments of girth is of little consequence. We as men think a thicker dick makes all the difference, when I think in reality 99% of women would not be able to tell you the difference between 5.5" and 6.5" in a blind dick test, and almost all of us fall within those numbers without further enhancement. Furthermore, most implantees are having sex with people in this age group and/or beyond, their wives, girlfriends, hookups.
***TBH, I tried this because of all the talk of girth on FT. I wanted to see if my wife would/could feel noticeably added girth. These are gel-like, so maybe a bit softer than actual penis flesh, but they don't squish down to nothing. These are even ribbed and have nubs to supposedly add sensation. $10 on Amazon and I had a couple of enhancers in 48 hours. If you're in a position to do so, I'd try something like this with your partner before I had injections or any other enhancer done to make sure it's worth it.

I remember buying these things many years ago when I started with ED, I was cognizant of losing some of my hardness and size, but could still have PIV sex regularly. The problem was that the moment I put one on the the squeezing pressure would force the blood out of my dick and I'd end up with the sorriest looking gel covered weenie you ever saw.

Jage64, nice report but I'm not sure her experience would be universal amongst all women. I don't mean to say negative things about your wife. Sounds like you've had a good marriage to a good woman. This isn't taking a shot at any women. Just like men, some are just "different".
I understand that my story jumps between girth & hardness. But a woman that can feel one should be able to feel the other. My wife could tell how excited I was by my hardness. Some times she'd comment that I was harder/larger than normal. "You've got a good one" was the usually comment. At least in my case, I'm pretty sure increased hardness was also a slight increase in girth. In fact her timeline for the beginning of my ED is several years prior to mine. She could tell my erection quality was declining.
A few times during our marriage I was able to see her face as I was getting close to cumming. She could tell, she'd get what I used to call a silly grin on her face. She could feel the increasing hardness/girth before ejaculation.
Women come in sizes. There is absolutely no way my wife could accommodate a large dildo or fisting. Despite having no problem with a quick vaginal delivery of an almost 8lb baby as a very young woman.

Jage, next time try having sex before much vaginal forplay. Then after just a few minutes, slip the girth enhancer on. She would be much more likely to feel it before she gets good and stretched out. My wife must have the ultimate sensitivity in her V. She can tell if I’m maxed out on pumps or if I’m 2-3 pumps short. And unlike most on here she prefers it maxed out! She said she loves the feeling of hardness. lol may just be from all the many years of it going soft during sex prior to implant!!

Hate to be that guy but most women in my experience definitely can tell. Current girl can even tell when my erection is at its 100% because most of the time its at around 80%, but on the rare occasions when viagra does its things as it should and i achieve what an erection is supposed to be, she feels it, and she notices instantly every time and lets me know its harder and "fatter" than usual.
The difference between 80% erection girth and 100% erection girth is probably what, half an inch at most? So i think most women especially younger women would be able to instantly tell if you are suddenly packing a coke can down there

Jage64, I did hesitant posting for a long time because it meant posting lots of personal experience & could easily be taken the wrong way. I do understand your ymmv & I agree the quest for girth seems odd to me.
The access denied was pretty funny the first time she did it. I lost some of my erection so I told her she screwed up. It wasn't going to work now. She said yes its still hard enough.
