Jock Straps is for.....?

Postby ceekay87 » Tue Dec 26, 2023 11:34 pm

Been reading a lot about the use of a jock strap. I've never worn one for any reason in my life. I am looking to get implanted early 2024. Can you please share the special use of the jock strap? Just trying to prepare!

Many doctors will recommend that while recuperating you keep your penis pointed upwards, towards your abdomen. I found that wearing a jock strap with a wide waist band lower on my hips would comfortably pin my penis against my abdomen, in addition to gently keeping my scrotum immobile. I wore this for the 4 weeks I was inflated post-op, until I was released to cycle. I haven't worn one since.

(note: even the AMS recovery video online recommends keeping your penis pointed up, against your body after surgery)

This is the one I used, I bought 2 to wash one while I wore the other:

What Jage said, above.

Also, if you’re partially inflated postop, as Jage & I were, the jockstrap does a much better job of hiding your chubby than simply underwear in those early days. I wore my jockstrap over comfortable cotton boxer briefs.

These days i wear only seperatec underwear. The heavier cotton ones for daily use, and the silkier ones for going out. Never really had a package until now. I like it. My girlfriend does too, and enjoys copping a feel when we’re out. (I keep a few pumps in for these occasions).

After implant surgery has been explained a lot recently. Try checking my post history for a pretty detailed story on how I used one to keep my penis pointed straight up.

If you don't get your scar tissue to hold your implant up. Then it is very likely that after being healed. Your erection will point straight forward, called 3 o clock. Maybe even at a lower angle like at 4 o clock. By keeping your penis as vertical as possible for the first few weeks you might get an erection at 2 io clock.

Most natural penises have a slight upwards curve in them. The implants are just plain straight. Thus the erection isn't quite as natural looking.

I got sent home in a jock strap. It was so bloody I threw it away not long after getting home. Never wore one again. I was left partially inflated until 5 1/2 weeks. Once deflated my penis started pointing down my left leg where it always used to hang.

I’ve made the jockstrap almost part of a mainstay in my wardrobe since getting the surgery. I really like it for the gym as I think it provides more support for running, and it also hides your dick from sticking out especially laying down bench pressing.
I will also wear it with jeans sometimes when I know I will be around a lot of people. Some people complain about the titan flaccud, I have found this to be the fix for too much penis sticking out.
Although, it’s not ideal wearing a jockstrap it’s still better than the awful feeling of not being able to perform.

I don’t remember if I was told to keep things pointed up or not I just had my 4th anniversary of getting implanted. For the recovery,I did wear a jock or sometimes a man thong almost exclusively for the first 6 to 9 months. I found them to be the most comfortable. Then I’ve always preferred low rise briefs, bikini briefs over boxers or boxer briefs.

Before the implant I preferred the pouched ones to enhance the package. Now post implant I find the pouched ones more comfortable, depending on my mood I’ll wear jocks or man thongs as daily wear, as a plus side my wife likes it when I wear jocks or thongs.

For exercise I always wear one keeps things in one place less noticeable when doing squats or bench press better than my briefs. Also with me my right testicle likes to ride high and if I try to go commando or loose boxer somehow righty and the pump fight each other not comfortable at ail. Also found a jock under my cycling shorts helped keep things positioned for comfort more than just the shorts or briefs.
