I understand what you're saying and agree, but all I can say is both implants had a shorter right side and it was never a problem. It was not obvious visually. The only way I could tell was by squeezing the tips of the cylinders and noticing that one was shorter. Perhaps it could be a serious problem, but in the eighteen years its been this way I've experienced none.
I'm 75 and got an AMS Ultrex in 1995. Had it replaced in 1999. Got a new AMS 700 LGX in 2013.
