Got surgery coming next month......I can't sleep at night...Nervous...got the jitters... When I do nod, I wake grabbing my nuts. The thought of the PAIN, but some of you, call it discomfort or slightly uncomfortable. It's OK, other than you will say, "Nut sack the size of a grapefruit", I say, bullshyt, when you destroy and invade such a delicate area, it's just seems damn PAINFUL. I hope I am wrong. I have stockpiled real meds.....OXY's, Hydro's, Perercets, Tramadols, and the like, just in case. Even got Cyclobenzaprine and Ibuprofen 800's. Can anyone recommend any other pain / sleep / muscle relaxers meds one will need, from experience?

Tramadol worked for me. Of all the ones you listed lol..would have taken those as well. You'll be fine. And one day you will be posting on here how grateful you are for doing this. So worth it!

You may not need any of your emergency preparedness though. ☺️

The only time I took pain meds was the two nights after the surgery, and I just took those to ensure a good night’s rest. Not proclaiming to be a macho man. If you need them , take them.

I must admit to being a bit jealous of you guys who report great sex and great fun, but only a bit. I had a stroke shortly after my implant was installed in 2008, and one of the results was a complete loss of libido. I never would have thought it would be possib!e, but I had a perfect result with a perfectly functioning penis and not the slightest desire to use it. It's been a long time and I do look back fondly to tbe days before ED, but one has to accept the things thar cannot be changed. You can shake your fist at rhe sky all day long, but nothing will change. You can say just pump it up and stick it in, but things don't work that way. C'est la vie.

In all honesty I don't think you need tons of meds if this is done by a world class surgeon.

I took one oxy on day two.
After that it was Tylenol.

In fact, I remember the day after I completed the 94' L.A. Marathon, I was in much worse pain and discomfort than this implant ever was.

You'll be fine.
As long as you have the right Surgeon you have very little worries.

I agree with these sentiments completely. My pain was extremely limited and went away quickly.
And my implant was done by Dr. Clavell, one of the nation's foremost surgeons for this procedure, whose support and skill were unparalleled.
In short, it was well worth the flight to Houston for what turned out to be a flawless procedure and overall pleasant experience.

A couple nights ago we had a bit too much to drink, then last night i had a headache, never get those but?? With the implant NP to have sex. Fear of not performing or getting a little too faded is a thing of the past. So good.
