This statement is contradictory… will the NHS even pay for a 3-piece inflatable? If the NHS is paying maybe it is dictating what the Drs CAN offer? You can look at this two ways.I just have average insurance and I had to pay out $2,200 deductible for my implant less a few cost I had already spent that year. A small price to pay for a very normal looking flaccid and a same size dick that I had at my best before surgery. Mine would have to fail many times in the next 10 years to even consider a malleable. I am totally happy with what I have. It is a fact that we read a lot more from the people that have issues than the people that never had an issue at all and stop visiting this forum unless they run into a question or a problem. To ea his own. It is an option and probably not a bad one for the guywho is lacking insurance that would cover it.

As a person that enjoys nude resorts with my wife, choosing a malleable would require us dropping that enjoyment from our lives. We would miss it. You can't hide a boner when you're naked.

Also, as a grandpa with 12 wonderful grandchildren whom I love more than my own life, I'm grateful they can climb up on my lap and spend time with me without me worrying about whether or not they'll see/feel a hard penis. Same goes for when we're at the beach, pool or lake.

When I'm done using my penis for amusement, I don't want to think about it an any way shape or form other than to aim it at the toilet bowl until the next time it's called upon for pleasure.

Malleable may be better for some, but not for me!

[quote="Rufian"]and the main reason is MONEY $$$ these surgeons and companies are not your friends, would they do revision surgery for free? It always comes down to the almighty dollar, they're so pushed here due insurance, the health market, politics, etc.[quote]

Well Im going on 11 years of service with my three piece, the first one lasted 10 years and its been worth it, the cost, the experiences, the pleasure, the confidence, the memories created....all of it worth every single penny to me and have no regrets.

What you aren’t entitled to is your own facts.

The mechanics of an erection are pretty much common knowledge. The 3-piece inflatable more closely emulates the process than anything else available.

If a man’s health condition doesn’t permit that, then yes, a malleable is probably a better option than celibacy.

I suppose you could always use a stick and some duct tape.

The overarching FACT is that the vast majority of men who get a 3-piece inflatable installed end up extremely pleased with their decision.

You got that right Tex :!:

In terms of functionality, the IPP is inarguably the better of the two.
I am exactly two months post-op and my Titan works amazingly. Hard as a rock when fully inflated and able to soften it down to as flaccid as I like (or she likes).
With that said, I am glad I went the IPP route to begin with so I have no doubt of an implants capabilities.
I believe that with the diligent cycling that I am opening up the cavernosa as well as straightening my prior Peyronie's so that if, in the future for whatever reason, I need or feel (based on repetitive IPP failure or malfunction as guys have experienced here) that I should go the way of a malleable, I may be able to have the largest size available in a mostly straight penis.
The main thing is I would not want to do the malleable without having first hand experience with the inflatable. I think I would possibly regret have first a malleable and wondering if I would have been happier with the inflatable.
I guess the up side would be that I might be able to change out the malleable, if I had that done first, for the inflatable if I found it to be inconvenient, not ridgid enough, or any other short comings it might have

Pills didn't work well. Trimix worked good for 3 years, then only fair for following 3 years but need a cock ring in conjunction.
