Any Anthem Insurance Members in Virginia

I am having to appeal an initial denial with Anthem. Any Virginians have better experience with Anthem?

I have Anthem BC/BS. When I spoke with them. They let me know that a lot of the decisions are based on the codes that the doctor are using. Just because you get turned down. That isn't the end of the journey. The doctor of here in Virginia Beach said that they can work on that to get it over turned.

I've been approved by Anthem here in Virginia. Got my letter this passed week.

Turns out my BCBS benefits plan contain exclusions that do not cover sexual dysfunction. I even sent an appeal in and still denied. It’s a bummer for sure. I’m looking to get on my wife’s insurance when she starts a job in March and try again from there.
