Implant is too big!

Postby Raycaba » Fri Mar 01, 2024 9:36 pm

I lost a lot of weight so my reservoir was showing so I went in for surgery to have it pushed in deeper so the tubing would not show and that worked really well but while I was at it, I went only 2 cm larger to a titan 22 cm I have kept it deflated this whole time so my reservoir would heal full. The doctor wanted it this way because of healing. One thing I have noticed with this new implant deflated is that the girth is a lot and the length it’s also considerably longer. I am afraid that my wife might not be able to handle this new tool or it might hurt her especially when I inflate?? Keep in mind I’m looking at my implant deflated right now and have those feelings as anybody else felt that way because I always hear people worried about size and I was till I got this revision.

The way I understand it is your previous implant stretched your penis out and then your measurements are larger. It’s not likely your dick will be 2cms longer immediately. It just don’t work that way. Someone who’s had a rebid with a larger size needs to chime in here.

I'm curious about this too. Will an implant, over time , stretch out the corpora and will require a larger implant when it's time for a revision ?

I would guess maybe swelling. I noticed really much bigger size in recovery after my repair. The same cylinder was put back in and none of the components were replaced. But size was really something to be proud of. Give it some time and see if things get a bit smaller.
Injections failed. Implanted 3-21-18 AMS 700 LGX 21 + 1 RTE 100 cc reservoir 6.5" L 5" G Dr. Kramer.

Your wife will be fine.
Women are very good at protecting men’s egos and make it out like we are killing them when having sex. That thing was designed to push out babies, all 29” x 14” x 6 pounds of them. Again she’ll be fine.

So true about women, but in my case, it was just an observation I’ve made for myself in comparison to the previous implant. I have it almost completely deflated, but it is definitely bulkier and Gerthier than the 20 cm titan I had before I don’t understand how twi centimeters could make such a difference I don’t have much swelling. I do on the side where they put the reservoir but I don’t consider that part of my penis but hopefully it won’t be too big of a bulge in my jeans when I heal.

I've got 22 cm Titan and 2 cm of backfill and I must say, 5 weeks past the surgery, I am still not comfortable in anything tighter than sweatpants.

I wasn't either at that point. It was about 7 weeks out until I could stand pants at all, and they are still a little uncomfortable.
