51 days and suddenly I have scrotum swelling (golfball size)

Hey Implant brothers!!!

Healing has been going well and besides minor growing pains I haven't had much to report.

However, last night/this morning I have noticed substantial swelling....

I have already called my surgeon's clinic nurse-line and I'm waiting for a call back (waiting 4 hours and counting )

Pros:
It doesn't hurt
I don't have a fever/temperature

Cons:
it looks like an extra testicle lol it's about the size of a pingpong or golf ball.
My scrote feels weird/heavy when I walk due to the extra fruit in the basket lolz

Location:
It's above the pump under the shaft right in the middle
I think it could be related to the incision (peno scrotal surgery)

Surgeon used dissolving stitches, maybe my body is working on dissolving them... I know that takes some time.
The lump/ball/excess fluid or whatever moves a around when I touch it, it's squishy if I were to describe how it feels lol.

Overall it's just weird...

Wondering if any of you implant recipients have encountered a similar scenario.

Mine also got big. Need to wear a ball lifter up. I am wearing David archer seperate a. And I also found on Amazon a ball sack holder. When sleeping keep the balls raised with a pillow. During the day try to lay as much as possible to reduce the swelling

rufian - lol maybe? I didn't get this lump/swelling the first time around. Malleable might be an option when I get older.
For now I'll keep trying my luck with 3-piece revisions.

nycflugel - thanks for the link! Did you get an explanation of why you had swelling? Did they tell you how long it would last?

My Surgeon's nurse replied to my online message via their portal.
No feedback on what it might be. They didn't tell me to go to urgent care. They just asked if I would be able to make an appointment next week.
I now have an appointment with him on Thursday February 29th.

I'll update y'all on what we discuss.

Sorry for the delayed update, life just be lifing....

Got into see Dr. Bodie last Thursday, of course by then the swelling and large extra ball was pretty much gone.

He said it might've been the stitch site where the muscle and skin is kinda pinched together and stitched up... Overall he said it could've been blood or fluid buildup that has since been absorbed into the body. Nothing dangerous, he felt around and said things felt like he'd expect them to.

I pointed him to the right side of my shaft at the base, I inflated it and said I feel this ridge here and he was like hmmm yeah... and after feeling it a few more seconds he said that it's where there are stitches around where they route the tubing up to the reservoir... He said it should go away over time. Internal stitches do take a while to completely heal and I might have a little ridge there for some time. No big deal and a relief to get some answers.

Had a couple other health related things sorted out this week, pre-op for the revision showed elevated creatinine levels which can be an early sign of kidney disease. I stopped drinking and the levels are back to normal! So I'm gonna be nicer to my liver/kidney from now on, don't plan on drinking like I used to. Still not drinking for now. I was drinking every day and like 2-3 drinks a day at that, which is definitely excessive thinking back to it.
Also got a consult on remove the bags under my eyes, found a surgeon I like and at a price I find reasonable lol $4,800.

Anyway that's me signing off, with the majority of healing done I'll probably not be super active here. But I'll check in from time to time
