Yes, still difficult to mask. It seems to constantly be 7 inches soft and fairly plump in the resting state no matter how much I squeeze it down. I can get it smaller by squeezing very firmly, but within 45 seconds, it goes back to the 7 inches. (Actually, now that I think about it, I can get the girth reduced for a few seconds by squeezing, but length stays the same. And, then girth comes back.) I do recall Dr. Clavell telling me when he called the morning after my surgery "This is your new flaccid size." That was when I was pumped (and left for 6 weeks) at 60 % inflated. I didn't really think anything about his comment at the time, because again, you don't really know what you don't know, but now his words come back to me and I do think this is what it's going to be like. I suppose it looks larger also because I'm a small guy. I'm 5' 7" and fit, no belly or anything so the bulge probably looks that much more out of proportion because of my physical stature. I love my dick and I love being naked (practicing nudist here) so when I'm without clothes, its great. I love to pump it up and admire its size. But, clothing will continue to be a challenge, I think.

I totally hear you about the pain of positioning your penis "up" to your waistband or try to point it any which way other that sticking out at 10:00 as mine did after surgery. It was extremely painful. I had my hand in my pants all the time it seemed, constantly shifting it or just holding my underwear out from it for some relief. I remember getting a haircut about two weeks after surgery and once the cape was on, my hands were in my pants pushing them out and giving my dick some freedom to breathe. That issue has passed and I can easily position it without pain now, but the bulk is there wherever its aiming.

It gets better. The first week after surgery was the worst. Just uncomfortable and swollen. I babied my dick, wouldn’t move it or touch it. Just lived my life with no pants. At week 2 things got so much better and week 3 I barely notice.

Make sure you ice, ice, ice. I just started heating now too. Take your meds on time and hydrate.

My biggest problem right now is the pain of trying to hide it. I have to go to work on Monday but thinking about folding it up to put into pants is awful. I had to tuck it away on the drive home when I'd go into a gas station and earlier today when I had to go to the store for a minute. I'm hoping big time that it stops being so tender and I can pull it up to my abdomen or bend it down to hide in my pants for work without it killing me. Please tell me that is possible!

Pain is the worst part. For the first 2 weeks I was swollen and tender. Putting on underwear and pants was a chore. I’m just now to the point (almost 3 weeks) where I can manipulate it without pain. I’ll sleep with it pointing up or rest on the couch pointing up. You’re going back really soon - do you have the ability to work from home? Short term disability should allow you to get paid to be out. You need to ice and take advil and Tylenol and get that swelling down. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat
34 y.o. Dealing with ED most of my life. Cialis, Viagra and injections couldn’t combat my venous leak, I’d lose rigidity no matter what.

@midwestguy333 - I can see how it would be still hard to mask if you're 7". I'm not so hopefully it won't be that bad, but I'm curious how much better it got after you were allowed to deflate after the 6 weeks? It's probably hard to say but I'm hoping that it will be a LOT better after I can deflate. Right now it's 60% hard (feels like 80%) and it just sticks straight out. I'm hoping that when I can deflate it will just be a bigger flaccid and not this jack-in-the-box tool I'm dealing with now.

And, I love this board. You guys are all so helpful! If I can answer questions for anyone, please let me know!

I posted this a while ago about hiding the front bulge. And yes, every day I wear my leg bag. Love the thing for keeping my wallet, keys, phone, etc.
