Has anyone worn or know the difference between the AMS LGX Vs the Coloplast titan in terms of rigidity?

I didn’t realize when I opted for it is this. The Lgx mimics the real cock, designed to shrink so if you do a lot of sports or like the shrinkage then its a good choice. I for one of many kinda like the “ shower” aspect of the implant which was a surprise to learn that about myself. A Titan will have much better shower aspects then the Lgx, my Lgx shrinks over 1.5 inches if I ever need a revision, probably go with the cx or Titan for this reason. Ie, do you want to be a shower or a grower?

Wow 1.5 inches from inflation is huge.
Do you have any pic deflated and inflated (maybe with a ruler near) to show?
Thanks brother

Don't know your sex preference, if gay, I'd go for the Titan. Even fully pumped, the LGX I have tends to not stay straight enough when trying to penetrate doing anal. If I could go back in time I would have asked for the Titan.

Does anyone know anything about this?

I think there may be a bit of misunderstanding and an incomplete question being asked. I think what is missed in the question and also in the discussion is erection angle. Not important to everyone but very important to many. I really do not care if I have an erection angle of 3-4 o'clock. But many men want a 1 o'clock erection angle. The stiffer the cylinder walls of the Titan has much less sag in the larger sizes than the LGX or even CX.

Do a search on erection angle and do some reading.

Hello, could you detail this a little more? I personally aim for 1 o'clock in erection. Would the Titan be a better option for me in that case?

There are studies out there that show that the LGX does not get as rigid as the CX or the Titan. That being said, I think that there would be more than enough rigidity for most any activity you would use the LGX for. Since studies are conducted to failure, the LGX loses rigidity before the others so it has developed this reputation, especially in the longer lengths of cylinders. I have heard/read of doctors not recommending the LGX at the longer lengths for this reason. You would never need an implant to get anywhere near failure.

Also, my personal opinion is that the "growing" claim of the LGX model is overstated. If there is a designed ability for the cylinder to stretch out more and then retract with fluid pressure and release, this to me looks like an additional failure point. The ONLY benefit can be a shorter flaccid, NOT a longer erection. The doctor should size you for maximum length during the surgery, and by doing so he'd be using the LGX maximum length measurement.....so fully 'extended'. He/She WOULD NOT maximum size you with an LGX that had not yet 'extended', by doing so could cause real damage to your tissue and eventual erosion.

I think that AMS is marketing to every man that wants a bigger dick than he already has, so they've dreamed up this implant that extends when inflated. We think our dicks will grow by an inch or two with this specific implant. It won't, it can't... if it does, the surgeon either undersized you to begin with or you're going to have some issues in the future.

Also, why hasn't any other manufacturer employed this strategy? IMO, because it's a gimmick.

If you trust your doctor and he/she has your best interest in mind, go with their recommendation. This is why I think it's IMPERATIVE you find a doctor that installs both Coloplast and AMS, they have different pros and cons.

But cant you put a couple pumps in and be just as much a shower?

Yes of course you can add a few pumps, I do this quite offten to eliminate a dang dog ear. But bare in mind that adding a few pumps acts/ is different than the uninflated IPP.
Ie a uninflated cx or titan will hang at nearly there full leigth, a lgx has shrink, can demonstate this if I can get pictures to up load.
Cheers and good luck

I don't think this is an urban legend.
It is based on numerous doctors' experience and on a few published papers as well. Dismissing all of them as being wrong is quite bold.
E.g. this one: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5654325/
This particular one does not (if I remember right) necessarily confirm that the Titan is harder to the touch, but it does confirm that at the same pressure inflated, the LGX does kink easier.
And in reality, this is what we look for. The implant to be able to withstand kinking or bending when forced to withstand longitudinal column load. Hard, as in an unnatural feel like glass or steel, is just a negative side effect of achieving rigidity.
The column strength is needed when penetrating or when e.g. the woman is on top riding aggressively and going up just a bit too high and then coming down again at a less than perfect angle.

I don't think we should just disregard several famous doctors' judgement (among them both Eid and Kramer) saying the Titan is more rigid when inflated, neither should we ignore studies like the one I linked to.
What we instead should consider is - does it matter? If we have two brands out there, even two great brands, of course all parameters won't be exactly the same for both of them. But just because one is harder when inflated, another one might be softer when deflated, one of them will have a smaller pump, has a more palpable pump, is thicker, is thinner, feels more or less natural when deflated etc - doesn't mean that one is great and one sucks.
They score higher on different parameters and even at any given parameter, just because one scores higher doesn't automatically make the other one poor in that area.

Because as someone said here, we don't really see many people here on FT complaining that their LGX dicks are too soft. On the contrary, most say their dicks are super hard and harder than their natural erections. In that case, even if the Titan evidently is even harder, so what?
I am however sure that I have read some guys on here who've had both and confirm the Titan is harder. And some others having had both say the difference is negligeable.

So I'd say the Titan is "harder", at least as defined by being able to withstand longitudinal column load, but that's just one parameter of an implant. And for an most people posting on this site, the LGX is definitely hard enough, even potentially harder than wanted.
My personal preference, and my wife's, is pump my Titan to the maximum, or very close to it. So in my case, the LGX being evidently slightly less hard, it would not be for me/us. But someone who does not even pump to the max on an LGX - then of course this is not an issue. Luckily we're all different with different preferences.
