01/17/24 Implanted with 27 cm implant and the dog ears are huge and painfull when deflated . Will this get better as time goes by ? I find myself inflating just to get rid of dog ears and that's hard to conceal.

Not sure if I can deflate enough. Dr said he had to add more fluid than reservoir would hold to reach full erection.

I don’t have any dog ears. After the operation my doc advised me, during the day, wearing pants, to point the penis up or at least not down. I did it for the first few weeks and asked the doc after 6 weeks if I still need to do this. He said why not for a few more weeks.

Now, after 8 months, I got used to it and never put my penis down in my pants. I think this helped to not getting any dog ears. Not even when I’m naked and the penis hangs naturally down.

The cylinders get softer as they get broke in and your penis gets toughened up during this time also. The dogears caused me more discomfort than anything thru my recovery and then one day they seemed to just stop bothering me. At this point you feel like they are gone but they are definitely still there when totally deflated. I would usually put several pumps in to find that sweet spot between less dog ears and not too much erection. I don’t know how it’s possible to NOT have any dog ears as they are cylinders and when You totally deflate and bend them down it will have a crease in it that will bend like a straw and will have dog ears. Mine are back in the base a little so they don’t show but still there. I sleep with it pointing up and a few pumps in it to even things out at nite. I started this when it was a help with the discomfort, but still do it just to give it a break from being bent down all day.

FWIW, I can feel the bent edges of my Titan when flaccid but they aren't all that noticeable and aren't painful.

Don't see how I could go through the day with it pointed up past my navel, belt tight against it, etc. I did do this for 6 wks but I wore bib overalls during that time. Hoping it will get "broke in" after a few months. Still wouldn't go back. The hard ons are fantastic.

I am in the same position as you original poster Tlink and agree with this above.

I am getting slightly better with mine, but as said, inflation requires that sweet pot and for me placed at the right angle.

Tried facing the dick up and got dog ears (or rather bends) and discomfort.

Tried all various pants/boxers but no help. I could do with a pair that keep my dick at the 10 or 2 o'clock position.

I can't wait to get my jeans off and just let it hang inside my dressing gown. It's like taking tight shows off.

I think it is just a matter of time. Mine has got easier and I'm hoping and expecting it to get more easier as time goes on.

As Rider1400 says, the cylinders will get softer, and I guess our dicks will learn how to adapt.

A temporary trade-off for a solid dick (ROCK solid), but I know it's a challenge and seems prolonged.

Jasejuk ,
Like you I'm most comfortable the 10 or 2 o'clock position. Higher or lower hurts and if it's hard it's I possible. Lol. I think maybe patience are in order. Like I said , I would not go back. The trade off is well worth it. At least I have a great hardon that doesn't let me down in the heat of the action. Also I am the same size as before surgery so I count my blessings.
