Where this all gets confusing is that the profession counts urinary sphincter implants the same as penile implants. This is according to my dr. Now please bear in mind that this is in the USA. It might also be driven by medical malpractice insurance rates. Meaning that from the insurance companies point of view. They are the same thus require the same premium to be paid.
Perhaps there are even other surgeries that are considered the same.
