Re: Cigna declined me
Here is a quick update I am on the second level of heel with a third-party, and I am waiting on a response. I should have some thing by the middle of next week I wrote letters to both Cigna and Clsims appeal fiduciary services Highlighting the discriminatory nature of the exclusion. After that, I hope I get the approval, but if not, I will have to look at another course of action to get them to pay for something that’s covered for another group of people

Re: Cigna declined me
Wish I could give more of an update but I am still waiting on Cigna and this other place, Claim Appeal Fiduciary Service, to finish up doing whatever it is they do.
I sent them both, vis certified mail, a letter detailing the discriminatory nature of the exclusion. I got a whole bunch of literature stating Cigna has a non-discriminatory policy so on and so forth. I am pretty sure they were forced to review every detail since I called them on that stuff.
So, now I wait for the Cigna “advocate” to call me back before I take to the state level.

you’re not wrong, my friend. My employer and their infinite wisdom has used both in the past several years We had Humana for a while, and I had no issues with them whatsoever They provided pretty good service at least at the time This is the bullshit that I’m gonna have to put up with. I might as well go to get insurance on my own and not deal with it from work.

Good luck bro,
Those were the words of a billing/claims specialist that works for a leading hospital. I have Aetna and feel the pain

Cigna approved me but it took work by the doctor. There are many different Cigna policies.

Re: Cigna declined me
I got my appeal confirmation in the mail today from claims appeal fiduciary services Inc. They said they’ll have a final determination by June 6. This is good, but the verbiage of the letter says they were retained by my employer, so I don’t have high hopes for an objective opinion on this one The next step after this is to state and federal because I am not gonna put up with this bullshit
