My implant journey / Rigi10 Malleable

Postby Thickinnocence » Wed May 29, 2024 7:50 pm

My Implant Journey

I have got implant on 3/23 in Turkey with a doctor who is not very popular. Istanbul is much better but due to I have home to stay in Ankara etc I choose doctor from Ankara which was a big mistake.

I live in USA but I am familiar with Turkey’s health system and it was much cheaper also to I still have insurance in there. Still I trust country’s health system but you have to choose the right doctor. Specially something like this surgery. Everyday I regret that I did not found this forum earlier (I discovered it after surgery)
I paid around 4800$.

I got rigicon malleable rigi10. Cause I am 35 years dealing with ED more than 10 years and I did not want to deal with mechanical failure etc. So I decided to go with malleable.
After surgery as soon as I am awake from anesthesia I was feeling very well. Zero pain. After cateter got out of me I was well just a little bit of burning when I was peeing.
The day after I got out from the hospital. I was feeling really nice unless I wear something. First week Definetely I did not wear any underwear.

On 7th day I saw doctor and told him about my 2 problems which are my glans was crooked to the left and I was feeling right rod to much, very discomfort, my incision was to big and I couldn’t wear anything due to discomfort of glans. He said it will be okay when incision heal and stretch to glans to right again. I Was so stupid!
On 10th day I flew back to USA . I stil did not have pain but I had 2 problems still. Incision was to big and not straight and glans was still same in the week 3.
I was waiting to 6th week to have sex, and was reading the posts in here most people was saying they were all healed in week 4. I wasn’t even close.

Now it’s been more than 2 months!!! This doctor screwed up my penis totally. Incision is not healed totally yet, the wound has not healed, it's officially new skin. there was a bump on the side of the wound and it just stayed there. And the glans thing I realized my right rod is longer then left rod so it pushing the glans to the left. And also when I touch the left rods top its flat but right’s top is pointy.

That s.o.b doctor officially ruined the aesthetics of my penis and I have no idea how this scar/scar will heal

And one of the shitty thing is this implant is not bending, I cannot bend it, Still when I go to work I put baby sock , I wear underwear and put half on my penis to hold it still near my belly and so much pain in the day. Nearly I do not want to participate anything cause I do not want to wear anything
My wife already dealed with my useless penis for 3 years and after surgery she is still dealing with my problems and she is not happy at all.

I lost around 1.5 cm length. I was 15 cm now I'am 13 and when aroused 13.5 / its most 14

Thankfully ! I can still ejaculate and urination is fine.

Now I have to go for revision. After I found this web site I discovered doctors like Clavell which I am thinking him for revision but I don’t know how it is gonna be. I do not have insurance, no way I can afford 20k+ charges. I am not sure go same malleable or 3 pieces. What if I choose inflatable and need surgery again. I am about the be crazy.
Just choose the right doctor cause they just care money and they do not care what are you going through.

wow thats a big scar . mine is horizontal and a inch long? i haven't measured it .
. i had pain pills and some for inflammation and antibiotics . With all that I had basically no pain ,other than sensitive glans for 4 weeks .
There was a slight bend in the upper shaft were they bent the rods to put them in, but i have bent it back mostly . as far as concealing it , it laid down to the left on its own from day one and i went with that. No pain bending it up or any other direction .
i lost no length or very little but did lose a whooping inch of girth from 6 down to 5.
that disappointing . But ill get HA fillers to get that back .
usa is so costly for medical operations if you're paying out of pocket .
how about india or eygpt ?
they both have good docters there and are affordable . To be honest , india outside in the streets is a mess , i never saw any place so dirty . Egypt is better in that regards . But both have good implant doctors . its just that long flight .
good luck and God speed on your revision . they might only have to adjust the rod position .

Don’t know first I take my chance in US. Then I’ll consider go back to Turkey or Egypt. I do not think I will go to India. It’s to far. At least Turkey a country I know everything and Egypt is near to Turkey that I can go after surgery

Sorry to hear about your troubles with your implant. It is obvious that the surgeon didn't do a good job on thin surgery, however, I think it is too early to get a revision, unless it is something that is causing a lot of pain and you can't live with. Also, I am not sure why your malleable can't be bent. Is it something related to surgeon's work or the device itself? I heard that Rigicon is excellent and better its competitors in bendability.
I can see there is dr. Karaman with some good reviews here on FT on IPP and dr. Ghawas in Egypt for malleable. I didn't see an IPP result for him, though.
Are able to have penetrative sex without issues by now?

I don’t know why it can’t bend but due to everything sucks I blame the doc. Cause even two roads tops are different left one has flat the right one has sharp top.

Since I mention because of I cannot bend I have very discomfort while I am at work (and the worse part I have to wear suit at work) and I have pain on the top of right rod (which is longer) I can touch the top I am afraid that it can cause erosion. I had sex a few times it is not bad specially when I am aroused well it gets better cause then glans fit the right side too. But after sex it’s been pain a while.

I don't understand the no bending how long has it been since surgery? I think I was told I could bend it at 4 weeks if I remember correctly. At my 3 week checkup they told me I could use it for sex in about 4 weeks more. Mallabbles are supposed to be the easiest implant to put in and use, your dr. screwed you good .

Malleable implants are considered the easiest compared to inflatable ones. If this surgeon can't do a malleable properly, how would he do if it is a 3-piece?
If your insurance covers the revision in Turkey, you can get a 3-piece with a good doctor. After finding FT, I am sure that you are now very educated and can find the best doctors.

Yeah probably because of revision at least my insurance in Turkey will cover hospital and doctor charges, maybe I’ll have to pay just implant. I am considering every scenario. We’ll see
