Libido and IPP

I'd like to ask a question for those who have been years without erections and then got an implant...
If you don't have erection, you probably have less libido because you don't get aroused from your penis' sensation, I mean, there is less or no sensation.
The question is:
Once you have the IPP, when you pump it up, do you have the sensation of a real erection and automatically feel from it as an erected penis does? (apart from the fact that now you can penetrate your partner...)

I know you want answers from implanted guys, but just something to think about...libido comes your glands (testicles, prostate, seminal vesicles etc) not from the penis itself. The penis is the delivery system for the semen produced from your glands. It is the glands that create the sexual pressure....this is why men don't think about sex for a while after they expend their energy

Yes and No. I had no natural erections for years before my implant. My libido was still very much at 80% or better. From pills to injections to implant my level of want/need has been pretty much the same. With the implant my inflated erection makes me feel like it did years ago, wanting to have sex.

I agree lost libido in 2022 due to 2nd stroke dr's unwilling to try any treatment. Had Rigicon MPP implanted
6-2023 .. I now find myself able to get more aroused and the fact that he is always ready to go seems to help that arousal.

Libido definitely comes from the brain and hormonal levels and of course from your thoughts or the external stimuli you receive to activate it.
Maybe seeing the erect penis will help you have thoughts to use them or you will receive feedback from your partner that will turn you on.

I think you are seeing it the opposite, I will speak for myself, what led me to look for an implant is that my libido was very high and I could not satisfy it as I wanted due to fluctuating or weak erections.

The order is first libido then erection

For me the libido boost came from the confidence in knowing I would be able to perform and didn’t have the stress of doing the injection. Sex is never far from my mind when a perfect hard-on is just seconds away.

I personally think it's more psychological than anything else. I lost my prostrate in 2020 and since they didn't get all of the cancer I knew I was headed for much rehab and on medication which would kill my testosterone level 100 percent. It remains at zero to this day and I would joke and tell everyone that if anyone's libido won't be impacted when I should have no libido well, I am feeling stronger then ever in that department and especially so because my implant works as advertised. As a man who has dealt with CPTSD issues I will say that when I am feeling depressed or heavy, I do kind of lose my libido but then again when I experience these down days I also have the cancer med working so in the end, to me it's basically psychological. It took time from the day of implant to feel any sensation. That took time. From what I remember regarding sensation, I'd say it was at least a couple of months of not feeling much when fucking. It's been great ever since. Coloplast Titan 18 months in no issues.

Then, that's the question.. having a working penis makes you feel like you want sex, of course it is your brain, but your brain needs the "tool" (although passive gay men may not need their penis as a tool, they go other way).
I use pills, normally my brain crave for sex all the time, but if my penis doesn't respond, I can't feel aroused, or if do, it last short term because I can't find the way to accomplish my wish.. so I end up feeling my sexual pretention as a nonsense.
In the other hand, even when I am not feeling any libido or need for sex, if I take a pill, as soon as start to feel its effect on my penis, my libido go wild... Its not the Viagra itself, it is the effect of having a working penis that calls the brain and awake libido.
So, i was wondering how it would feel having an implant: If you inflate it.. will you feel the sensation and a call for sex as having a natural erection does? Or, will you feel it just as a dildo without especial sensation, and then you need to work to find arousal and make the inflated penis work as an erected penis..
From what people says here, i think both things may happen, depending on the person and the circumstances..

I should have added that I do feel my penis rub against my clothes and it feels like I never lost my original one in the first place. Makes me feel like a man after not feeling this way for years. All i know is..it all took time to heal and to feel great again.
